At SWA every pilot gets a hard line the 1st full month out of training. It's after that 1st month where the reserve lines become an issue.

Ok, I realize that, but I think psysicx said "hold a line", and by that I assumed he meant permanent, not just the month freebie, which is universal to all bases.
 
I understand upgrade in DAL takes a lot longer, but I'm curious how it is for a new F/O on reserve or commuting from the DFW area. Anyone with experience care to share?
