Not sure how not requiring a type is lowering the standards. Any do**he bag with 7,000 to blow can get a 737 type. Its not like its going to weed anyone out. It just comes down to whose willing to spend the cash and gamble. I think we all know a few who spent the money on the type and didn't get the job, and still have yet to be called for a 2nd interview.

I read in one of the other threads 200 new hires now instead of just 100.

Any truth to that?

288 new hires is what I have heard

Sounds good thank you sir!

Just a few more days before the window closes. Then we can begin stressing about the criteria they're going to use to narrow 10,000 applications to a more manageable number. It's exciting ... in a stressful sort of way!

It should read 260 total. Not sure where the 188 original number came from but the poolies and internals totaled 160. But I have also heard the 200 more rumor floated as well but the official # is 100 more at this time....

I was lucky to get mine in! Good luck to everyone and hope to see you in the Big D!

I thought you already worked for a major?

See below

I work at a Major. AAI would be a step down.

Which one is it sport? I think you really are a troll who plays too much flight simulator in his parent's basement.
