Anyone have an intel on the upcoming rounds of interviews at SWA?
Just curious on how many are being interviewed vs. how many vacancies.

Any gouge available? Any reports for recent applicants?
It seems a though all the info available is a couple of years old.

Thanks!

Also- do they still require the 737 type-rating, officially or unofficially, just to get an interview? Or have "market dynamics" thrown out that silliness?

You do not need the type for the interview. If hired without it. You will have 6 months to get it. Stupid I know. We are giving them away now.

We are giving them away now.

All you have to do is pick the next carrier to be acquired by SWA, go through a seniority list merger, and you too could get a FREE type rating from SW (like almost every other airline in the world will provide!)

Well I made a little bit more at SWA then I would have at AAI. SO the type after my job offer was more then worth it.
