FYI to all the Delta loving, load factor experts. The loads on our 15 flights today were over 125 with the exception of 4. Of those four, the lightest load was 80. This is current as of right now.

It IS old. SWA is a great company. I'm happy to be flying at DAL, though the pay should be a lot higher.

I predict SWA will be successful in ATL...but DAL will be just as successful two or three years from now as we are today.

Vigorous competition is what both airlines need to "stay honest." That does not mean that we can't acknowledge the other group's positives.

JohnQ thanks for the post, some of the back and forth is getting old. I am not here to baby sit, but people are getting tired of it. There are some people who are actually interested about SWA in ATL, not whatever Godspeed event is related to SWA. Thank you.

Yeah. I didn't look to hard at the post history. But my post still stands. Flying airplanes is all fun and games until your first furlough, downgrade, merger/acquisition, strike, bankrupty or concessions.

I'm a Southwest guy. And...I want Delta pilots to thrive; I want their next contract to be a home run for them and sustainable for their company.

As airline pilots, we do better individually when we do better collectively. Our loyalties and ambitions should be more closely linked to our profession in general than our companies in particular.
