You're a d0uchebag.I define it as we by airplanes when an airline has a fire sale. when they are days away from going out of bussiness we step in and by airplanes, gates etc. kind of like ATA. I said it before and i will say it again I dont think there should be a staple, even our union said not to expect a staple again. I do think however that everyone should interview!

You are absolutely correct. I've never seen a company that can keep a secret like SWA. When the next truely "big announcement" erupts without warning, it will come out of left field and catch everyone (inside & outside the company) flat-footed.
If it's a scheduled announcement for our folks in Denver then it's probabkly to reveal the winners of the last chili cook-off or to announce the next burger-burn has been cancelled to reduce our carbon footprint.
Besides, I heard from a source at the GO that we are not interested in the Mexican 737's because there's too much dried salsa all over the cockpit floor.
You're a d0uchebag.
Either the most sarcastic or the dumbest FI post in history.
Wow. Just... wow.I take it from your post you dont work for a profitable airline that has a great culture and emlployees that would want to protect that culture at all cost. Oh well your loss.

Professionals know to begin a sentence with a capital letter and how to spell "verry."verry professional!
My vote........Nothing's happening on the 9th.
I guess we have some sort of announcement comming on the 9th in Denver.
I heard all Denver employees were asked to attend.
Any ideas?....

Can't be anything big or there would NOT have been a 'pre-release' statement of an 'upcoming' announcement.
If this is a possible merger, history has shown that no airline merger has been announced this way. It's so funny how someone on this thread has already started talking about intergration of seniority, what a laugh. As far as AeroMexico www.aeromexico.com if you go to their fleet, you will see their fleet is made up of: MD-82s, MD-83s, MD-87s, MD-88s, EMB-190s, 737-700s, 737-800s, 767-200ERs, 767-300ERs, and 777-200ERs. I don't know about the airbus fleet seeing how much they are invested in boeings (but who knows). I don't know, but I've never seen an airline merger that has been announced by telling the world we will make a public announcement on a certain date. Frontier guys I don't think there is a need to worry about switching back to boeings yet!
I sure hope you're right...we're all still reeling from that industry-revolutionizing business traveler program SWA launched a couple months back after massive hype.
Absolutely earth-shattering. Plus a free drink.
What could possibly be bigger than that?
