Please do tell, SWA has complied with every letter of that stupid anti-competitive AA protective law since it's inception. Looks like DFW should have catered more to SWA than AA seeing as they'll be in the red again.

That "stupid anti-competitive protective law" wasn't for AA, it was for the FTW half of DFW and continued for the political class that feeds off of DFW. Sen. Hutchison comes to mind. DFW would love to cater to SWA, as soon as SWA abandons DAL.

The Wright Amndmt was to allow an expensive airport project the size of a georgia county to be financed with cheaper bonds by assuring investors that it would be the only airport serving the Dallas-FortWorth metroplex. It really had nothing to do with "protecting" AA at all.
