Anyone from LUV think they will call some poolies in early 2011 or just further optimize and reschedule aircraft around? Keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Along with EWR, the news of Mexicana closing the doors, may be time for SWA forget the Volairs and do it themselves. Order a bunch of -800's. There will be a huge gap left in flying to/from Mexico and some $$$ to be made. That should help the poolies. Interesting times ahead for SWA.

Wow, all CAL/UAL had to do to alleviate the DOJ's anti-trust concerns was lease 18 slot pairs to LUV at EWR? It simply doesn't get any better than that. I remember many people on this forum saying that CAL/UAL would have to divest many slots/routes/assets because of "all the overlap." I guess you were all wrong.

At least Kelly is doing something. Bob F of AirTran pulled out of EWR last year with his tail between his legs and also is pulling out if MIA to go where? Tunica and Branson... Airtran is waiting for buyer.
