is the kool-aid starting to run out? Make sure the 67%ers loose theirs first.

Only good thing is that pathetic $19 and hour 1st year pay goes up.

SkyNation, look up the pay rates, and rigs (soft money) in our new contract, then subtract 1.95%.

We're still making more than you will be with this joke of a raise.

And as someone else pointed out, what happens to you if DAL and UAL merge? They won't need as much RJ feed, and it would be a lot easier for Inc. to furlough from the non union side. They don't have to follow seniority or recall rules.

Y'all better start kissing up to management now to reserve your chair when the music stops.

WAY TO GO 67%!!!

I don't think they have to wait until Delta / United merge. Flying is already being dumped in Salt Lake and LAX. And why are their 46 reserve lines in Denver? Yeah - something tells me they're a little overstocked in all departments. How much longer do you think they're going to allow folks to sit around making gaurantee without touching a plane all month?

To this day it still amazes me that some of the folks there have such a hardon for the place... I mean. It's a regional. ...and it's about to remind them.

...to still less than the first year pay at many other operators. Granted there is MUCH more to compensation than hourly pay rates, but for the love of Jebus even Mesa pays $22/hr for first year jet FOs!

There might be growth out there.

The additional aircraft type may well be smoke and mirrors. It is interesting though that while other regionals (mesa especially) are struggling to cover their flying, SkyWest has a boat load of reserves.

SkyWest traditionally runs pretty lean. Why are they staffed at current levels?

Jan and Feb are pretty lean flying months in between two busy seasons (holidays and spring break). There are always extra reserves in Jan/Feb. When March/April comes around, they'll be used more.

Heard from a senior chief pilot, mgmt is "planning" on Messa going out of business this summer, and picking up their flying. Priceless! going from being the premier regional(oxymoron) to carrion eater, whats next?

Yet you continue to work here....

SkyWest is going to cover the China flying, too? Sweeeeeeet!

They would probably be the largest, most successfull regional airline in the world. Oh wait....nevermind.

Being the largest, or the most successful doesn't mean a thing if the employees aren't paid fairly. At least from the employees standpoint. But you are probably very happy with that little bitty raise they offered, and you will probably try to stuff the ballotbox with yes votes.
