Listen here

Your whole pilot group hits a nerve with the rest of the industry. Everyone knows that Skywest is the gutter ball carrier of this industry.

Step up to the plate and get the job done. I know that is going to be hard when Jerry padds the ballott box with FNG's but if you guys are so senior and experienced you should be able to get it done.

Oh by the way that new pay schedule you just signed is all smoke and mirrors your still bringing up the rear.. It would sure piss me off to have to fly a 700 & 900 for fifty seat rates. Knowing everyone else is getting more. But hey if you will work for nothing they will surely let you.

"Listen here?" lol okay grand-dad can i sit on your lap while you tell me how things work?

First of all, I never said SkyWest was problem free. Sure there are problems at SkyWest. But you know what... There are just as many problems if not more at any other regional airline. If you want to cherry pick an airline about pay and QOL, why don't you start with the real bottom barrel, Mesa. SkyWest is the gutterball of the regionals? lol To tell you the truth, if SkyWest is taking flights from someone as immature as you're presenting yourself here then I'm all for it. You yourself do nothing good for this industry by acting like a jackass. While all pilots want the best in this industry, there are many business dynamics that you completely ignore.

By the way, I don't work for SkyWest, but I congratulate there success and I believe they can eventually work through there inner-company issues (with a union). You're not going to see overnight changes with a pilot group consisting of 2700+ people. If there management is able to get more flying, it's not because they have the cheapest operating cost. Chew on that for a moment.

So please. Continue your campaign to make SkyWest a better place by calling them names and disrespecting the pilot group. That's the most educated and professional approach possible, right? Hatred and stupidity, onward! I think I'm convinced that folks like yourself will always have something to bitch about.

ps.
Why don't you go tell some mainline United pilots that they are also scumbags. You know.. The ones that were displaced to captain seats at SkyWest after 9/11, instead of being thrown out on the street.

You sir, need to be sexxed, right now. It's saturday, go do something....anything. Lucky for me I'm at work, about to be told by you how we took flying too.

Drool over it you scumb, i feel bad for the Mesaba and Pinnicale guy's. They are going to get screwed by Skywest just like Air Wiskey and ACA did. I hope all you skywest loosers are proud.

90% of the new-hire classes are made up of prior part 121 and 135. I was one of them.

Did you ever ask yourself why there are that many prior 121 pilots there? The real reason is that Skywest undercut everyone of their pilot groups sucked them dry like a tijuana hooker and left them by the side of the road.

Airtime,
You sir are an idiot. I fly for a 121 carrier and I start class at SkyWest next month. I'm not going there because they undercut my carrier and we lost flying. I'm going there because it is better. And it kind of sounds like it is better than where you work because you are bitter.

Dude you flew a 1900 and only have 1600 total time. You are going there because no one else will take you. Good luck with the seven year upgrade. It's coming.

Airtime,
Not true. I walked out of upgrade when I found out I got the job. PIC turbine time is not as important as QOL and job security for some of us. So, did you not get through the tech interview when you interviewed there? Is that where the anger comes from?

Never tried to get on at Skyworst

My displeasure comes from all you FNG's with blinders on thinking that skywest is the best thing since sliced bread. You are getting screwed cant you see that. Good Hoe's are worth more than what you get paid. Respect yourself

Guys like Airtime are the reason why the ignore function was invented.

This thread is proof that ANY thread on FI over 3 pages long is bound to end up in a sorry sad p!ssing match.

I am glad your mother has a job.

:bawling: :crying: :bawling: :crying: :crying: :bawling: I understand your jealousy. Perhaps you should get therapy and reapply after your therapy. Don't worry the second interview usually goes a lot smoother and you won't have to pay union dues here either. Not the best thing since sliced bread just good work rules and competitive pay. cya in about a year sweetie.

Skywest screwed ACA and Air Wiskey

.

So evil SkyWest forced ACA management to go independent and slyly convinced Air Whisky management to invest in US Air.
Right.
Was SkyWest also responsible for the Kennedy assasination?
It's obvious there's a village missing an idiot.

Apparently you are a FNG if you don't know the history. How did that 172 treat you for the last six years

I am not jealous at all. What do you guys have that we at other carriers need to be jealous about other than a nine incher stuffed up your cornholes. From Mgmt raping you.

I feel sorry for you low life scumb that can't stand and get paid what you deserve.

Let me write in in big F'n letters so maybe you can see it.

OTHER PILOT GROUPS MAKE MORE MONEY THAN YOU DO. IS THAT BECAUSE THEY ARE MORE TALENTED THAN YOU GUYS? I DON'T THINK SO, IT IS BECAUSE THEY STAND TOGETHER AND SHOW MGMT THEY HAVE A PAIR

OTHER GROUPS ARE TOPPING OUT AT 121.00, 118.00, 103.00, 100.00

YOU ****************************** BAGS ONLY TOP OUT AT 93.00

AND YOU DEFEND YOUR GROUP LIKE THEY ARE STANDING UP FOR THEIR RIGHT AND DOING THEIR DUTY TO MAKE THIS A PROFESSION. HELL YOU ALL TALK CRAP ABOUT MESA AND THEY STILL MAKE MORE THAT YOU.

THAT WOULD PERSONALLY PISS ME OFF. NOT TO EVEN BE IN THE BALL PARK. YOU LET JERRY BULLY YOU AROUND. THE ONLY REASON HE IS NICE IS BECAUSE HE KNOWS YOU ARE THE CHEAPEST HO'S ON THE BLOCK.

BLACK AND WHITE THERE IT IS

THAT IS WHAT I AM PISSE ABOUT ALONG WITH THE REST OF THE INDUSTRY.

So then using actually data from W-2s prove your case that most/all pilots make more than us. Also remember they have union dues deducted every month so you should really take 2% off all the hourly rates. Here's a hint we top out at more than 93/hr now plus 5% more for the 700/900. Show us how we make less than Mesa. Another theatrical argument that does not use facts. I don't think the industry is too pissed at us. Quite a few guys come from other airlines. Settle down there beavis. Try using facts next time. You may pissed off but we are not. Most of us are obviously happy with what we make so there is no need to meddle in our affairs.

A wise man once said:

"Arguing on the internet is like participating in the special olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded."

Your new override is bs. Any you guys know it. Smoke and Mirrors. I guess you all like to take it from big daddy J.

Mesa does make more that you they top out at 100.00 you fags top out at 93.00 sorry ****************************** bag you are the bottom.

I know the history because I was around for it.
Last time I was in a 172 was 10 years ago and the last time I gave any dual instruction was early 1990's.

Please elaborate on how SkyWest messed things up for Air Whisky and ACA. I know people at both places.

For extra credit please tell us your knowledge of the Bain group.

Give Airtime a break, you'd be pissed too if you dropped 80K at the Delta Connection Academy, got hired at ASA with a couple hundred hours and now have nearly 4000 hours of right seat RJ time with no upgrade insight.

What really pisses him off is that guys that started flying after he got hired at ASA, went to SkyWest, upgraded, have a couple types and several thousand turbine PIC, and are now moving on to even better places. He won't have that opportunity in the next several years. Let him bitch about the rates. Third year RJ captain pay will always beat out 5th-6th year FO pay.

Next time you go into work airtime ask someone a little more intelligent than you what the effects of work rules can have on total pay. I'll make over 84K this year while blocking under 850 hours -- and thats not counting per diem. I did that at seven year pay of $67hr. If I do the same next year as this I'll top 90k no problem. How bout yourself? 900 hours of block for 900 hours of pay? Life sucks huh?? I usually feel sorry for pilots at other carriers that haven't been as fortunate, not in your case. I'm glad when everybody starts hiring you'll still be stuck in that right seat unqualified for all of the Boeing and Airbus jobs.

So what you're saying is that if Mesa pilots were offered SkyWest payscale they'd turn it down even though they make less money in every other airframe they operate (1900, EMB, Dash 8, CRJ, 200,700). Do I understand you correctly?

I'd be interested in hearing from some Mesa pilots on this one.

To bad that you will probably be sitting at $93 forever. You hope to get hired else where I would to if I worked for Skywest. Most companies know your status and will never hire a skywest puke. That Sucks

Hey airtime42, at what point to you start challenging Skywest guys to a fight?

I know of people from SkyWest who got hired recently by Continental, Southwest, JetBlue, Air Tran and Virgin America. Who are the "most companies" you speak of?

He's just a moron who speaks out of his a$$ with no facts to back it up. He's totally ignorant of the situation at Skywest.
