So you don't fly the 170 yet but its in your AC exp??????????

Just trying to post some info for you guys looking for jobs and yet you have to critique what's on my profile. Would you be happier if I remove it and add it after I'm done with training?

You can put what ever you want. Im just saying that you should not mirepresent yourself. Im in training else where now to but I don't claim im a pilot here, I will when im done with oe. tell people your on your way and your going to a good company? then when you finish oe you can come join me on this site and tell the 328 check airmen how bad of a job they have, but until then you don't work for CHQ. Good job leaving skyway! you saw the light.

Leave RP alone. How come someone can't put what they want in their profile. Let him be excited about starting class, going to a growing company, and flying a bigger jet. What's the big deal? It's sad you have nothing else to do but criticizes people profiles. He's only trying to help his fellow employees with an option, that's it. Get your head out of your a$$! and get a Life, Prick!

I am going to go back to the porn biz, bennefits shaggariffic! watch out Ron Jeremy!

I have nothing bad to say about Skyway. I enjoyed working there and thank them for the opportunity they gave me. Just doing what I feel is in my best interest at this point.

Samballs it says that you will call yourself a pilot when you are off of OE? Olde English BIIIITCHES! That is the only way I would call myself a pilot that smooth flavorful stout taste of malt liquor. I guess I would have to be drunk to fly for a company such as Skyway. By the way Dojets suck dude...I think they should go to a flight of beech barons.

WARNING: Thread has been hijacked by retards.

With that said, good luck to everyone involved with this mess. I was really shocked that they didn't announce furloughs. But, I wouldn't hesitate leaving for something better. I would too. With only about a year invested hoping for a quick upgrade, you'll just be at the bottom somewhere else, but with better opportunities. Me, I guess I'm a lifer flying that sucky DOjet living in base. Gawd it's rough.

Wait, Beech Barons? What are they? I'll fly them for 152 rates if it will put me a shiny new jet. Start it up non-union, f#$% everyone else. I want mine.

Skyway Math???

I was out doing yard work and the old brain started thinking..... If we are going to staff 50 DO CA, 55 BE CA, 55 DO FO, 55 BE FO; My math skills come up with a total of 215. We have 275ish left on the list, could be less. That is about 60 extra pilots for the time being. Is management going to keep the extra and let attrition take care of the overstaffing?? Wow, They are good managers.

When we get the Barons, will it be differences training or require initial? I love the Barons and all beech products! I've been drinking beech koolaide for eons now.

It's really only thirty when you count the check airmen and management. I'd imagine by the time all of the flowbacks finish, we'll be right at the staffing number. I can't tell you how many people have had interviews or have them scheduled for the next couple of weeks. I would almost go out on a limb to say we may hire by the end of summer.

Don't go overboard on thinking they're good managers, although your remark seems a bit sarcastic. I imagined they were going to staff to 40 a seat, furlough a bunch, and then cancel flights because we'd then be short. Then hire and pay for all of this training out of their pocket, not Delta's. That's the typical move, save a dime, spend a buck. They actually got it right this time. Now if we could get some catering and rampers.......

I'd say the number is fairly high. Most are interviewing and accepting positions with CHQ with a few going to CMR and ExpressJet. I'd expect some will go with Mesaba too.

Even though I was extremely fortunate to avoid displacement, my resume is out to several places too. The pilot group is great and the DoJet is fun to fly but I've become cynical about Midwest (more like TH) allowing SYX to grow. If Midwest Air Group is really serious about saving money and being cash-flow neutral, they should just merge Midwest and SYX. That would eliminate redundant departments and bring costs down. Can you imagine Midwest and SYX merging pilot lists? Oh boy, wouldn't that be controversial... :D

Good luck to all!

Peace
