Have they been "hiding" the OT from the pot so normal line pilots can't pick it up for all your 6 years? That's what they're doing now. I'm not sure if that was how it was before or not. Maybe it was.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't red arrows just a visual reresentation of the old low coverage. Now you just know that your cances of a swap are slim before you put it in, not waiting until after. I've been here almost 6 years and reserves hae covered OT the whole time. This is nothing new.

Reserves have covered open time, but now the company is with holding more block hours than usual from the lines they build. Then they dump it all back in after finals and force feed it to reserves. That is why there are ZERO people in the reserve list every day.

Why not build more lines? The 200 CA reserves are crediting 85-100 hrs. What is reserve like on the 700 for CA's and FO's?

Same here. 3-day trips so far this month. I don't think 4-day trips exist on reserve.

I don't care if they do or not...if you're going to get extended into 6 days, start with my 4 day and get a 2 day to go with it and let me have the 3 day and another day off. Seniority SHOULD have its privileges

It just sucks way worse these days

It is tough to hear the senior guys whine about not having 16 days off over the weekends and 3 day lines. "Who cares about reserves anyway? Scr** them".

I guarantee you it sucked more 16 years ago under Erion. There were no rules for reserves either....

Yeah maybe the rules were worse, but it didn't last 3 years, with no end in sight. Oh and the "you should been here when" thing really doesn't matter. This is now and this is abuse of the reserves any way you slice it.

There are effectively no rules for reserves now. So Many loopholes and opportunities for manipulation.

The only rules we have are the FAR's and those are being bent everyday.

We are crediting over 100 hours now on reserve. If you think it is easy then I suggest you stand a post.
