Question for Pilots...

I heard somewhere that most pilots are attracted to jobs that require lots of skill and experence but pay next to nothing and work you to death, is there any truth to that?

Second born, right handed (although I do drink lefty), not wild about climbing ladders. This may have something to do with sliding off the fuselage of a KC-135 when I was a young 'un.

Only child, terrified of heights when there is a perspective involved (like ladders, buildings, Grand Canyon, etc.), okay in airplanes, claustrophobic, right handed-I can drink with both hands.

My father, who flew A3 Skywarriors in the Navy and afterwards was a life-long recreational pilot, was the firstborn of five and the only one who was left-handed.

Second child and right handed.
Can't hit a barn at 50 paces shooting right handed so I shoot left handed:uzi:
As a child couldn't even change a light bulb standing on a kitchen chair.
Still feel a little uncomfortable @ 12,000' in a high wing airplane.

First born, right handed and can't stand fire escapes, rooftops, tall ladders etc. Once I strap wings on, I'm fine, walking around at launch looking down at the streamers used to really creep me out though.
