Next time you guys go the barber shop, tell them you want a number one guard all over. Then you don't have to worry about gel or combs anymore.

If you look in the ALPA mag almost all of the officers on the back page have mustaches. I think a mustache is the key to looking like a true professional pilot. You should try it in conjunction with the 'spikey' hair.

ok so all of us 20 yr whatever FO's with the "spiked hair"- I see that all you cappys b!tch about the hair styles on here all the time. Can any one of you guys then tell us what is the industry standard haircut we are supposed to have? I really don't get what the big deal is. I do agree that the backpacks have goto go, but I have seen many a Cappys with them too and they are not new!

personally I love all of your hot shot comb-overs! and your 80's wallstreet mullets I see everyday!

I could give a crap about your hair.

What pisses me off the most is when you're 1/2 dot left of the localizer, 1/2 dot low on the glideslope and target +25kias... but you think that you look cool doing it because of your hairstyle.

Then, when the "cappy" tries to give an honest critique of your ILS "performance" you give lame excuses and then turn on your $750.00 cell phone and complain to whomever will listen about how your "cappy" sucks.

I like your hair, but you do a $hitty job in the airplane so who gives a damn?

Sincerely,

B. Franklin

Amen!

I think the messed up comb over look Woody Harrelson has in Kingpin is pretty sharp.
As for me with a head full of hair, I like to corn row it like Bronson Arroyo.

I personally like the nodding-off captain balding, twice divorced look. That can really pull the puss!!

I dunno, I have flown with a 30 year old 737 fo with "spikey" hair who could probably give flying lessons to anyone on this board. I know I enjoyed letting him have at it on his leg, he could fly the hell out of that thing.

i dont spike my hair however im not going to part it because of my job, there is a life outside of aviation, hopefully more time is spent there then in the airport sitting or the hotel jacking off. ( i dont do overnights by the way)
