so we aren't going to hear anything tonight or tomorrow then i would think. If they are trying to force the TA, wasnt there something in the scope section of the one we voted down that permitted Colgan flying for Delta with q 400's. Given the news that delta is getting rid of the saabs and Colgan has 15 Q's with no customer coming in 2011 could this be a reason? Just my thoughts here no rumour.

Hey SEVEN, whats your beef against Pinnacle? All your posts show nothing but negative comments against 9E. It's just another regional like Mesaba.
A decent ammount of unprofessional and irresponsible pilots. This stems from numerous accidents and incidents over the last few years. Just a personal opinion I have formed along with many others based on facts, statistics, and past personal experience I have seen from 9E. I am not going to rehash past posts and threads but if you do any in depth research on the company, you'll see what I mean. Folks that disagree with me have their own opinion....and that's fine. I, along with many others have mine. Just a few....MKE crj off roading, Montana TAWS event, TVC overrun, Jefferson MO, highest violations in DCA on departure a few years back, Type 4 deice fluid for enroute icing, and can keep going but I would be here all night. I always take heat from a few 9E pilots on here for my opinion, but I don't care. I have seen enough from that company over the years to form a rational opinion about the company. End of story. And no, it's not just another regional like Mesaba. Mesaba has a 100% safety record. No fatalities in the history of the airline. And Mesaba is the oldest regional operating in the country. There are certain places I would work and wouldn't work. Pinnacle is a place I would not work. There are better places to get used and abused.

Didn't you guys (Mesaba) blow out the windows of a bus doing a cross bleed at the gate and put a plane off the runway just in the last year in DTW?

Ok enough he said she said, back to the rumor, are you guys saying that they are going to tell the negotiation committee to accept anything, or has there actually been a forced TA #2?

I worked at skyway for the MKE thing, and was in terminal when it happened. That was by far the best story yet

There are some MEC members who simply want to accept what ever the company is graciously willing to give us. They are from the confederate bases and will probably fail, I hope.

A reliable source tells me that this rumor is bogus. Nothing unusual going on tonight with the PCL MEC. Just a benign conference call.

Did your reliable source tell you that there was in fact a movement to do so? But I agree that it is probably not going to happen tonight.

Even better was the PA from the Captain to the passengers before he went AWOL......."...boy folks, we almost didn't make that one."

Just heard from the reliable source that the conference call is finished, and everyone on the MEC is on the same page and ready to go bargain for a good deal when they go back to the table at the NMB later in the month.

Never trust rumors. Always call your reps. If I, someone who hasn't worked there in a few years, can get information, then you certainly can, too. It's usually just a phone call away.

PCL is right. Nothing to see here.

Oh, I heard Pinnacle was going to get all of XJ's 9's and become the PREMIER DELTA CONNECTION AIRLINE. Oh wait....

Today or a month from now Mesa II (Pinnacle) will cave and take it like a .............
They will take what the company gives them and ALPA will call it a victory.
Best raise you guys will get is when you throw ALPA to the street.

Get ready to grab your ankles, your mec is about to ram you guys tonight. You'll know what I mean probably tomorrow, or call them and ask what they're up to tonight.

Once again the Faithful Union soldiers fought off the corrupt confederates from the south as they tried to sell the pilot group down the river with a "secret resolution" .

Good job MSP and DTW guys....

You must know some high up people, or have some serious MccGeyver.
Wiki is more of a reliable source.

I think we all learned a valuable lesson tonight. Samballs is an idiot.
Not true. Just didn't happen like he thought it would. He had the correct info, just didnt unfold like he thought it would.

Sounds like the North won again.

This is correct. Just because they didn't pull the trigger, it does not mean there was no gun. There was and has been for weeks.

There was nothing to vote on... There was no "North vs. South". The MEM and ATL reps wanted a meeting -hence the agenda item of discussing negotiations- to have everyone on a call to be all on the same page going forward. The entire problem was prior to this call it was shaping up to a "North vs. South". We are all on the same page and moving forward to the NMB. Before you spread rumors, get them sourced. I never wanted to come on here to referee facts, but there went $10.

Welcome to FlightInfo! I hope your $10 bucks provides years of entertainment and useful information related to current flight related topics. Just between you and me, I would've spent the money on a good movie. Peace.

This says it all. It was building for at least a few weeks. Just because it didn't play out in the end does not mean there was no attempt.
