How about our white shirts? Can you clean those?
Those get relinquished to clean up oil spills after about 6 months. Although, I've flown with some pit stained captains that may have kept their seriously beyond their useful life.

The coat is a harder purchase, every spring I hung it up hoping to not have to wear it anymore. And every fall I cursed that I was still here and had to wear it again.

It's all a moot point since XJ won't exist in about 3-4 months.

Uh, yes it will. Colgan's certificate will be re-named Mesaba and the props will be Mesaba. The jets will be Pinnacle. Mesaba will still exist as the turboprop platform. Colgan's name disappears because it has tarnished the regional industry.

The "go, no-go" date for the fenced operation was Oct. 7. Sometime in early December it will be a "Flagship" or "Colgan" callsign... In 12-18 months it will be "Flagship" or "Mesaba".

It is what it is.

November 30 is the last Delta saab flight. December 1st we and the jets we currently fly join you on the PCL certificate in our fenced world and PCL assumes operational control. December 23 is the last USAirways saab flight and at that point the certificate dies and so does Mesaba. At that point they start the process for the name change from Colgan to Mesaba.

look on your pref bid form and you may see into the future-some have changed to MAYBE reflect a "peek" at what you will get

Mine changed as well....sf34 ca to dtw crj200 capt.

Pinnacle pilots got the ROYAL A$$ HANDED !!!! Godspeed my brothers and sisters at 9e....Seven capt on the 200..sigh...

This mo fukr going to think the 200 is the space shuttle columbia..

I still show DTW 200 CA... time will tell to see the actual award. I will be pleased if I keep the seat, but it will be salt in the wound if we see 2300+ numbers upgrading and others being displaced (beyond the obvious saab guys).

That is good if you aren't displaced. But sitting bottom reserve is no peach. I know a few of us that have been doing so for almost 4 years now on the 900 are trying to move to the 200 to get off reserve, or at least be the top reserves to get the days off and contact times we want.

But sitting bottom reserve is no peach.
Am I hearing a XJ pilot b***h about sitting reserve on a RJ? How about being thankful that this merger lets you keep your seat, or the left seat of a Pinnacle RJ as opposed to being displaced (CAs) and furloughed (FOs), which woulda happened without the merger. The last thing I wanna hear from a Mesaba pilot (or even a Colgan pilot) is to b***h about their new schedule. It's a lot better than your pre-merger alternative.

And if reserve Captain is too unbearable, you can always bid back to FO in your base and get 18-19 days off including weekends.

Except without the merger I would have only needed about 50 people to leave to get my seat back. Now I have about 900 ahead of me for that seat. And for me living in base, reserve isn't usually unbearable. But a holiday off once in a while would be nice, no matter what seat/plane I am on.

Flyer1015... STFU already...So sick of your constant 'My Vagina's Bleeding' Posts....News for ya Pal! some of us lost five effing years of seniority on this merger. It sucks for everyone not just 9E folks......YADA-YADA-YADA..Next!

I already posted that as another horrible thing about the Bloch award. 2000 and 20001 DOH guys at Mesaba are under 2005/2006 Pinnacle guys and 2006 Colgan guys. That's BS. That having been said, even though lots of 9E guys gained relative seniority, it's irrelevant if you can't put it to use.

Blah blah blah... what you low IQ individuals fail to realize is that as long as you stay near your quotas... your bidding power is unaffected. Because as people move up the lists, they will be filled by other low seniority Mesaba pilots -- out of order.

What your number says on the master list means exactly two things... jack and sh*t. But it might get you some sympathy with the ladies. You should try that.
