How would someone who has all his time in MS flightsim know about the 410 club.
PS I measure my MS sim safety by "flight completion rate" ring a bell
I prefer Captain Troll, my A380 is waiting
There WILL be a lawsuit filed immediately (I'm sure ALPA was prepared for it). Part of my guess of why the early announcement is multi-part, some for stock prices, some of it likely to see how the lawsuit from ALPA washes out.
What you won't see is probably some of the union guys from PCL posting on here. Now that it's a full-blown law suit they'll likely be told not to discuss it, even anonymously.
In other words, the 9E pilots will have no idea WTF is going on because of some ALPA "hush-hush" lawsuit. I think the reason we will not hear anything is because the union has no idea what to do at this point.
Was this (i.e. 9E buying Colgan) not considered when the scope was integrated into the last contract? I thought that was the sole purpose. I don't see how it takes a month for ALPA legal to decipher something they should have reviewed years ago.
So now 9E pilots will have no information from the union or the company...
Good times!!!
Well, that's life under Wakefield for ya'. I got SO frustrated trying to work Communications with "We can't tell them that yet", or "We can't come right out and say that", keep-it-close-to-the-vest tactics. In other words, the 9E pilots will have no idea WTF is going on because of some ALPA "hush-hush" lawsuit. I'd bet you a c-note that ALPA legal was absolutely ready for this and had planned for it from the day the first announcement about Colgan was made.
You'll probably get a blast email that says something to the effect of "We had hoped the company would not attempt this but, with the Company's history, we were prepared for it and have filed a suit in ____ Superior Court to uphold our RIGHTS under the Scope provision that Pinnacle management signed."
After that you won't hear squat until it's over. POSSIBLY dates for hearings and such, but most likely not.
Sucks, I know...
