If you offered both flying jobs, and you are wanting someday to fly for a Major, which one would you take and why?

Thanks.

Pinnacle! Republic will be out of business in 6 months due mainly to attrition!!! Trust me, this place blows!!!!

Hobie these are the regionals here, no dream job here, its tough lots of hard work (flight a little and always away from home and making a joke$$$ for time that you put in) but you want to do it so you can move on.

If you have any friends or family in any of this companies ask them and make your decition.

good luck and c-u out there!!!

Bases aside, go with pinnacle. We will have a decent contract come Friday, and I expect decent movement with more Q400s coming online and attrition.

Pinnacle of old is gone as of tomorrow. With the help of our brothers and sisters from mesaba and colgan we are now a good choice for employment. A lot of q400s are on the way

Why would you even consider Republic when literally, all of its current pilots are trying to get out???? Do yourself a favor and AVOID the Two-headed monster of BB and WH!!!!!!

I would avoid republic. They are in a losing proposition trying to make Frontier and Midwest, both consistent money losers, into a viable business while fighting Southwest in their main hubs. They will probably lose a good chunk of their regional feed business when contracts expire, because why would a competitor pay someone to fly for them..?

It doesnt matter which regional you go to. Go wherever you will be home more and make the most money. There is no "quick upgrade" airline anymore. Besides, the quick upgrade of today is the stagnant airline of tomorrow. I'd pick the stagnant airline of today, it may be the quick upgrade of tomorrow!

Sweet, anyone want to walk my stuff into Comair. I always did want to get back to CVG.

Didn't Pinnacle's health insurance triple with the new contract? Kinda negates the pay raise doesn't it.

yeah, it went from 30 bucks a month to 89 bucks a month for a Single CA. The Raises were 5-10 dollars an hour increase. So um, no the 60 dollar increase doesn't negate the $375-1000 per month raise.

Yeah dont come here Insurance would have cost you $30 a month now they are going to make you pay $85 a month, now with Short term disability and loss of license included. Horrible isn't it. Good thing I just got a $15000 raise and $10000 bonus to help pay that crazy high insurance premium.
