My apologies. Good luck my friend. Whether you see it or not...we are going to be in this together. I'm just tired of all the XJ hatred for my pilot group.

I know we are going to be in this together. The "hatred" is just response to the crap we have been hearing from your pilot group for the past year. I guess we haven't reached our Stockholm Syndrom yet. You're probably right. We should have just sat in the corner and taken the beating and liked the people beating us.
 
Again, you missed the point. You guys skew information. That's my point. I skewed the information to make my point. Get it?!?!

Skew - To give a bias to; distort.

Unfortunately any information presented is going to have bias, the readers have to decide for themselves the validity of those facts. Sometimes the writers may not even realize the bias they put in. At some point you have to let the reader decide for themselves man.

It feels like, to me, you are simply changing the discussion to something else as quickly as possible in the hopes of salvaging the situation. Kinda like losing a drag race and saying, "See I was just proving to you the entire time how badly you speed on this road!". In this case we were discussing an article that appeared ranking Pinnacle as the worst airline to work for, which you changed into a psuedo- accident investigation. Why? I don't know. All I see is a thread started about an article written about how crap of a company bought ours, and it turned into a safety record review, followed by you changing your mind and turning it into Mesaba posters on this board being "too biased".

I can't keep up man, stay on topic.

I would have thought Mesa would of been at the bottom. Nope. I guess there's always hope for the future. Hopefully the contract Mesaba provided will boost moral in the pilot group. :)


I wish you would stop bashing Mesa based on ancient history.

Mesa really has become a very good company to work for, it is the best regional by far based on operating results. Best regional in both United and Airways system, and with very high seniority we make industry best pay.

This article is just pathetic. They got a wall street anaylst expert telling us what they did wrong?

The title of the article is smearing dead men who are not here to defend themselves. There is nothing "baby" about them. They were qualified First Officers, one of them with over 6,000 hours and the other about 3,000 hours. It's sad we are allowing media to define "baby" as anything less than Sully...

I did. The numbers dont lie my friend. Mesaba= more incidents and accidents.

Epic Pinnacle. This exert is from the MKE accident.



The airplane departed the left side of the runway about 4,600 feet from the approach end of runway 1L. The airplane veered across the grass infield before crossing runway 07R/25L. The airplane traveled through the intersection of taxiways A, E, and T before crossing another snow-covered grass in-field where the aircraft went through a snow bank and onto taxiway B. The airplane stopped near the intersection of taxiway B and M in front of concourse D.

The captain reported that nothing appeared to be wrong with the airplane so the decision was made to taxi to gate E64. The captain reported to ATC that the braking action was "very poor." Then when queried by ATC, the captain reported the braking action was, "Extremely poor. NIL." The flight crew received progressive taxi instructions and taxied to the gate where the passengers were deplaned via the airstairs instead of the jet bridge.

This freak departed the runway into the grass then onto another runway...departed that runway into the grass and then finally coming to rest on a taxi way. OK, OK, I can understand that with braking action NIL, But then he taxied to the gate. LOL, I just gotta say Epic Pinnacle.

That was Hibbing. There's a cross built where the plane hit. You can see it on final approach. That crash devistated that small town.

Seriously? You are the one that linked the report he copied and pasted and said Mesaba had more incidents/accidents than Pinnacle.

Negative. I posted that Mesaba has had more incidents and accidents than 9E which is correct. Your coworkers are talking about a different crash in Hibbing. Better check your facts before you go off half cocked.
