Pinnacle, Mesaba, Colgan Reallignment

Remember this was only the initial award...many changes can be make on the final award. They may just absorb the displacements to avoid training costs, now and future, and relieve some of the bottle neck in training.
 
Now that I have sobered up, it is not as much fun reading the mud slinging. Flyprdu is still a D. Bag, but I truly look forward to flying with the ATL 9E guys.

The only thing 9E and XJ can agree on is that the vast majority of the Colgan pilot group made out like bandits. I cannot wait to hear a Colgan guy complain about the merger. Please for goodness sakes let me run into one of them soon.
 
You know what's funny? You XJ guys blow hard -- but none of you seem to deny the facts:

  1. Mesaba is shrinking.
  2. Pinnacle pilots are absorbing your aircraft losses in your place.
So cut the crap. And get on the Terminal PA and kiss my ass.

Yes mesaba was shrinking and yes some of the pinnacle pilots did absorb those losses. A large percantage of our guys took huge losses of senority for that. In the short term some of our guys get to leap frog some of your guys even though they may be junior on the new SLI, but have vast more longevity.
 
I think there are going to be a lot of changes for the final award. Some things on the award don't make sense. How was it possible for a DTW Saab Captain to get MEM 900 Captain when they weren't displaced, and there wasn't any vacancies? Same thing with the two senior 9E ATL 900 guys that went to MEM 900 Captain. Also, how did 17 non-phantom guys get ATL 900 captain when there were only 15 openings and nobody was displaced TOO it.

For the record, I do feel bad for the 9E guys that now have to commute to JFK and the recent 200 upgrades that will now be displaced back to the right seat. But keep in mind, the pilots in all 3 companies are simply pawns in the game. Management runs everything. So, for 9E guys to get pissed at XJ guys for something that is out of their control is crazy. I agree,this award was jacked up and there will no doubt be a few revisions to come.
