And Now You Know The REST of the Story
All the talk about pot use etc... WGAF
Here's my take... And don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of the Tater, but.... Say you had a nice gig flying him around the country, and one night he shows up drunk and belligerent in the cockpit (say it isn't so). He threatens to crash the plane or wants you to do some rolls etc.. When you attempt to reason with him he becomes irate (can't ever see the Tater doin' that). When you land the aircraft safely, you are fired for your actions.
SCORE Rich Drunk - 1 Poor Pilots - Zero
Now you coulda turned his A$$ in for interferring with a crewmember (which might have been some serious jail time). But you let it go. After a few months of no luck finding a job, you got pissed and decided to exact some revenge. You know the Tater likes his herb (and his scotch). Since scotch is legal and herb is not, you click on flightaware and track the Tater. You call the local authorities and alert them to the likelihood that one "Tater Salad White" will be arriving shortly with some herb (that is not normally found in Tater Salad). Ron Gets Busted.
SCORE Rich Drunk - 1 Poor Pilots - 1
Now I don't care who you are. That right thar is funny.
This was simply a case of settling the score. Just because we love the Tater doesn't mean these pilots are jerks. What if the guy had been the CEO of an evil corporation and threatened to jeopardize the safety of flight? Y'all be would all self righteous about stickin it to the man.
Hell if someone fired me for doin' the right thing, I'm afraid the cops would find kiddie porn in his car at the FBO (That's a joke).
There's two sides to every story. Personally I'm inclined to side with the pilots. I could GAF if pot is legal or illegal. In this case it was simply a means to an end.
As the clock winds down the SCORE is 1 to 1. Ron White should should stick to tellin jokes instead of F'in with pilots.
Lord I apologize..........

Atlanta's WSBTV Channel 2 Action News report the Federal Aviation Administration is conducting an investigation into a May incident in which pilots allege White may have risked the safety of crew and passengers on board his private jet.
The pilots said White fired them after the alleged incident, according to WSBTV.
On June 25, the pilots told the news station they were flying White on May 11 from Ithaca, N.Y., to Gwinnett County Airport at Briscoe Field in Lawrenceville, Ga., but were diverted to DeKalb-Peachtree Airport in Chamblee, Ga. White became drunk and enraged and tried to enter the cockpit, the pilots told WSBTV.
