All of you are forgetting that liberals have made it their business to see that guys like this have equal rights. Just wait til cops can't pull over a certain demographic for fear of a lawsuit. Now that'll be change we can believe in!

Easy. Pax will be stripped of their undies before boarding.

...soon to be followed by rectal visual inspections. Sounds more like being in a supermax to me.

Edit:

Don't know much about this explosive material being used in this terrorist attempt. Can it be traced back to its origin by its composition?

So this terrorist goes to the bathroom for 20 minutes they say and then returns to his seat and trys to blow up a plane in the last hour of flight. This being seated for the last hour of arrival into the U.S. is going to stop a would-be terrorists from trying to ignite an explosion? So they can't make a spectacular explosion rain down on an American city, they just blow it up over the Atlantic or on departure now.

And this not making announcements of the flightpath, cities or landmarks flying going to stop them either? I suppose the government is going to shut down websites like Flightaware.

This is a scary thought in a sick world. Maybe that is what happened to Air France, and hey wasn't the Air France aircraft that broke apart over the ocean the same type of Airbus? Authorities should certainly be wondering if the two are linked somehow. ???

All the more reason to fly your own private aircraft.

Air France couldn't have been terrorism. The whole purpose of terrorism is to strike fear into people, and if no one claimed responsibility for the attack, no one would know it was terrorism. Not to mention the ACARS messags that were automatically sent out supporting some kind of performance/structural issues.

As far as profiling, and everyone saying we need to profile, the fact is we already do. The only PC part of the whole thing is when they check ol' granny as an extra. We saw this when the TSA leaked their manual. Everyone coming from Syria, Jordan, other Middle Eastern countries, Nigeria, Algeria, etc. automatically get extra screening. That's textbook profiling. We lost this time because this guy went through initial screening in Nigeria, and they probably don't have state of the art screening over there.

Apolitical Abernathy is right on profiling. What I am suggesting is El Al type measures. BTW, the El Al experts have said that we don't have a security system, just a harassment system!

1) Don't waste limited resources (time, $, manpower) on those that statistically are insignificant (tiny kids, old white people with walkers) Call me a racist, (I prefer culturist) but ALL OF THE PERPETRATORS HAVE BEEN MUSLIM MALES BETWEEN 25-45 YEARS OLD. When reality stares you in the face; don't turn away, learn from it!

2) Increased measures in the area of behaviorial profiling and interogating. This is many times more effective than simple "he be dark, he's the mark" profiling that makes the libs squirm.

3) Take aggressive action without red tape, fear of getting in trouble or getting criticized when the evidence warrants. What is the price for being occasionally wrong, inconveniencing/embarrassing the innocent? What is the price for being ineffective and lame? FT. HOOD TEXAS, PENTAGON, FLT. 93, BOTH TWIN TOWERS ON 2 OCCASIONS, in addition to the intangible cost of everyone knowing that the current US system is simply a random harrassment program, embarassing in its futility, ridiculed by its participants.

Anyone read the new TSA Security Directives resulting from this incident? more annoying changes in order...

Yep and this flight originated in Amsterdam. They are the ones that didnt do security screening correctly and now all the whole US has to pay for it. :mad:Totally amazing that after all this time from 911 the BS just keeps getting deeper. :puke:

I am waiting for a female passenger to try to ignite her bra during flight! Now that would be progress when they outlaw those! :D
