I have over 3000 hours have gone through 121 training at boston maine airways.was furloughed at end of training (faa investigation) waited months just to be told sorry no recall.Have flown 135 for seasonal operator was vfr but did ifr checkride flew cherokee 6 and seneca. have atp written and am multi current and proficent, but the catch is I'm in a non aviation job right now to pay bills so I can look for flying job. And have not gotten a call from any regional i sent a resume to. ASA, Pinnicle, pedimont(had resume walked in) Comair. So I'm wondering why with all the shortages I read about, why I have'nt gotten a call?

Try Mesaba. Great time to get on as we are gonig to be hiring 500 pilots over the next couple years. Where do you live and want to be based? Mesaba will for sure give you a good look.

Good luck

barnyard, i am not partial to caravans. just curious why such distaste for the airplane?

You must not have your contact info on your resume if Piedmont didn't call you within 3 minutes of receiving it.

Not that I recommend it but commutair would hire you. I think we have a new hire class of 3 starting in the next two weeks. Because they got so few they are shooting for 20 next bid.

all contact info is there

no all contact info is on there. doug (flight safety manager/f.o. upgrading to ca) went down to h.r. and gave it to them almost 3 weeks age and nothing. I even got hold of some training materials for the dash and can draw out the whole electrical system besides limitations i have meorized.

Mesa will put in class on Wednesday. Want in? PM me! Everything on here that you see about Mesa is true. It sucks but if you are of the any port in a storm mentality let me know along with a contact #.

go to a job fair, free one in Miami on 4-21

I agree. You're over qualified for a regional FO position. You should be a street captain at the least. Either that OR you're blacklisted from the industry.

not blacklisted

I'm not black listed i've never done anything wrong and am not over qualified i have only 230 multi most flying was done single engine to build time. the only thing i can think of is i'm not in a flying job. so they would rather hire some 500 hour instructor sitting in the right seat. I never instructed.

I don't think you're over qualified. What may be keeping you from getting a call is your flight time in the last 6 months. If you haven't flown much that may be a factor.

True, If you can fly a ILS to mins PM me!! We get cash now for refering people!!

Don't fly a Dash at PDT if you can instead fly an E170 over at Republic/Shuttle America. I am hearing pilots are offering to split the $500 referral hiring bonus with people who volunteer to apply at Republic/SA. Say goodbye to 1960s technology and hello to 2000s technology. Also, you might want to attend some of those Air Inc. career fairs - meet with recruiters on the spot. Whatever you do, avoid Mesa and GO JETS.

You can always take my spot flying the E145. I can't wait to get out of this business. Don't think the grass is any greener on the regional side - it is puke brown if you ask me.

Who's flying 1960's technology!!! lol

While it's no Go Jet, B.M. Airways doesn't exactly have the best reputation in the industry. Maybe it has something to do with that.

When you write "...(FAA Investigation)" in your original post those of us familiar with B-M Airways probably either know or assume the investigation was of Boston-Maine. BUT...if you list FAA Investigation on a resume or cover letter as the reason for your furlough, then a resume screener or recruiter may think the investigation was of you personally and pass on calling you.
