Well it finally happened, we all did get laid off. But that's not the point of bumping this thread. How busy is the flying at the on-demands? There is obviously a little less lift out there, are you guys picking up the slack, or is there nothing to pick up?

haven't noticed any difference since usajet had the big lay off.

I'm starting to believe that on-demand really is dead.

Not a good year for GM

On February 12, 2008 GM announced its loss of $39 Billion. The biggest loss of any U.S. Automaker. GM has offered buyouts to all its UAW members.

In March 24, 2008 GM reported a cash position of $24 billion, or $6 billion less than what was on hand September 31, 2007, which is a loss of $1 billion dollars a month. [44]

A further quarterly loss of $15.5 billion, the third-biggest in the company's history, was announced on 1 August 2008.[45]

I saw something on the news this morning about the auto companies lobbying recently, trying to get money from congress to bail them out of their slump.

I'm out of a job, but I am so sick of this socialist crap. How about we make CEO's take responsibility for their mistakes?

Hey - a bailout worked for Fannie & Freddie. Once the Dems agree to throw $30 Bill or so at GM, Ford, & Chrysler, the US Dollar will be devalued and on par with a peso... Go vote for that Marxist Obama and more will be on the way. He'll take it from the oil companies as a so called "windfall profit", but what about the actors that make $20 Mill for a movie?, or what about the pharma companies that rake in a 20% profit margin?, or, what about the movie studio that raked in $450 Mill recently for a movie? Oh - you like the idea of public healthcare - look at the cancer mortality rates for countries that have public healthcare versus the rate in the US - it's anywhere from 15 to 30% higher in those countries with govt healthcare... Sorry for the rant...
