Rumor has it Gary Wilson sold all his remaining shares on Nov.1. The reason our MEC is pushing a worse than UAL contract is because the sale of the pacific routes/fragmentation would look better to a new purchasing carrier and maybe the pilots would go with the sale. IE pacific and cargo. Most would be the senior "red" pilots from the original Northwest. Pacific and cargo are the only thing NWA worth a hill on beans anyway.

Rumor also has it that this is the reason AMR has been hourding cash and going to their pilots for more concessions. Give us more and we will buy some routes and expand.

Boy would that be something. D. Worthless would wind up with the same integration as the TWA pilots at a non ALPA carrier. Ouch.

If D. Worthless, gets stapled to AMR seniority list, which is non-alpa, does this mean he has to leave his position at ALPA national.

Please say its so.

I dont believe that Duane would have to step down. Back in the 80's Randy Babbit was an Eastern Pilot that was in Duanes position for many years after Eastern was out of business.

I believe this could be substantiated by reviewing the Insider and Rule 144 Transactions. I checked NWA current ticker on Yahoo and none were listed.

Good luck to all at NWA.

After the TWA debacle the only way that I can imagine AMR doing this is if the routes are bought and the pilots and everything else are left behind. With almost 3000 AA pilots on the street I dont see how AMR could get this past the APA without all hell breaking loose.

But since we are talking about AMR management I guess anything is possible. Maybe thats the reason the APA is talking up concessions so much without AMR asking for it.

Lots of Gary Wilson but nothing listed recently and nothing came up when I did WSJ search

Don't know anything about a planned liquidation, but I wouldn't read anything at all into stock sales by insiders in a Ch. 11 company. I pity the fools buying the shares, but remember this line "Bankrupt companies cancel their shares."

Again, "Bankrupt companies cancel their shares." So once Ch.11 is declared, the shares will evenually be cancelled. They even say so in their investor relations press releases. Some chumps keep day trading them, but it's just stupid to hold on to them until they become completely worthless.

UAL's hovered around a dollar for two years after they declared, so the ESOP was able to dump a lot of them to the day traders, getting at least some value out of that fiasco.

I thought the roberts award was going away after the end of the year? Doesn't this get rid of the red vs green seniority and make it purely a date of hire (at original airline) seniority based list. Being from the original Northwest will no longer have anything to do with seniority.
