It seems that you are loseing ground. Almost 1900 voted in the last election and this vote only 1656 turned in ballots. You still have a majority but it looks like your membership is losing confidence in your leadership.

Just in case you are right, then the 73% need to rally and fly the pledge even harder. You may have just motivated 73% of the frontline work force to slow operations to a crawl. Thanks! After four years I'll take help motivating this group from anyone, including you.

Hey Troll.....in your dreams....do you want to bet your job there aren't enough pilots to shut this place down? Oh...forget about it ...you have no say in your future anyways.

You clearly do not have the FULL story. Keep watching the company propaganda site. They will NEVER lie to you....just like they will never lie to our REAL owners about the MARQUIS program.

If I were an owner or CMH casino employee, I would hate to be associated with NetJets if the pilots don't get a satisfactory contract. I think things will continue to seriously errode until a decision is reached.

Pilots here used to be loyal and extreemly hard working when they believed Santulli's promises. Now they just feel abused and lied to but still hold out hope that this can be corrected. Imagine what it will be like when all hope is gone...

We don't know why 400 pilots didn't vote, what we do know is that 93% of those that did vote are ready to strike.

Nope Not really

Nice try Troll,

There was a database problem with the addresses. Myself and many others didn't get a ballot.

I think it would have been alot higher had all pilots recieved a ballot.

How do you arrive at your incorrect number when you know not everyone voted?

It's not really important what you think of the outcome anyway.

I'm pretty respectful and value everybodies right to have an opinion, but your starting to be a real hemmoroid.

But then, you don't matter anyway...... Nevermind..

aAnumber of pilots did not receive ballots...that's the reason why many of them did not vote. Teamster's International was in charge of the mailing and a number of pilots did not receive ballots. My guess is that the number would have been closer to 98%+ in favor of a Strike.

Regardless of the why's........Netjets Pilots are willing to Strike for a good contract......Casino works beware!!!!!!! We aren't as disorganized as your bosses are telling you.

Troll is a moron, trying to spin the numbers. Idiot doesn't even know how many were eligible to vote or who actually received a ballot. Keep making yourself look stupid. I'll keep flying the contract to the letter.

you guys must be totally PO'd. You mean you had a chance at better numbers and the MEC is going to accept these? Isnt this the incompentnce SU sang about the last MEC, that they cant even get a mailing right??

Wow....congrats on the passing- but it makes you wonder- how did they chose who didnt get a ballot?

What part of this don't you get? Don't try to spin these numbers your way, it won't work. If there are angry brothers, we will deal with those problems in an open manner. IF, mistakes were made, we will fix them and move on.

WE DON'T KNOW WHY THERE WERE ONLY 1600+ VOTES (80% OF THE PILOTS) BUT 93% OF THOSE VOTED TO STRIKE.

WHAT WAS THE TURNOUT IN OHIO FOR THE LAST PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION? HINT: LESS THAN 80%, alot less.

There are many reasons why some didn't vote. One reason is they are on active duty military. Some are not on the seniority lists yet, etc. When the final numbers on who was eligible to vote comes in in will be over 90 percent of those who received a ballot voted. If someone never received a ballot and they are not on active duy military then it is that persons own fault that they didn't receive a ballot. The numbers against the company just keep going up. 83% no on the TA. 89% yes for the new MEC and now 93% yes for the strike. Seems good to me.

You are right about your angry brothers. And we look forward to you dealing with them and all your brothers. Just remember there are two paths ahead of you. Agree to a contract after reviewing the books, or be put in recess for a long time. You have your vote for your leadership. It is up to you to understand where they are leading you. You do have strong leadership. Just make sure they don't miss the prize, because it is your future they will postpone.

They might be angry about missing the chance to vote, not the outcome.

And we look forward to you dealing with them and all your brothers.

We don't need any help from mgt to deal with Union issues.

Just remember there are two paths ahead of you. Agree to a contract after reviewing the books, or be put in recess for a long time.

As soon as there is a real proposal put forth, it will get a vote.

Threats again, tisk, tisk. Should we have taken less than a cost of living raise to make everyone in management happy? The prize will be 6S.

I think it sucks they way you all are slamming the workers in the so called Casino - where a person decides to work is their problem not yours. The fact that they have to work here may not be as fabulous as it once was but its what they are choosing to do to support themselves and their family.

Who's slamming the workers in the casino? Sounds like flame bait to me. The funny thing is this management team will be gone in a year. Just like the other four management teams before them. Our union will be here for a looooong time. We are looking out for our friends in Fort Fumble. I have been here a long time I don't want to see my friends in CMH lose their jobs when Shamtulli decides to change management again. What happens everytime when new management comes in? Everyone in CMH gets their departments turned upside down. Don't put all your stock and trust in Bridgeway Bob and "Moisture" they will be gone one day soon.

There are some good folks that work in the casino, although none of them post on this board except for the ones that side with Shamtulli and are hoping NJA pilots don't get market wages and a good contract.

I am in no way taking sides- I take most all of it with a grain of salt these days. I also do NOT want to be put in the Troll group for speaking my mind.

3rd degree burns on my butt and a new tail number

I know I will get flamed ...

but with posts like "we will shut the place down", "it will go under", etc., just be carefull of what you wish for ... it may come true.

If NJA were to shut down, I have many other options (please remember most of my posts support the pilots before you flame me). If the place shuts down, I go somewhere else, or buy a plane with a few friends. Not as good as what I have at NJA, but it works. In fact, I have been looking at a few Falcon 50-EXs. Maybe I charter it out a bit and fly more myself for the same $ per year and a little more headache.

All I know is that if the fractional model falls apart, for whatever reason (1) I find some other way to fly, (2) WB and RTS and the other "Palace" executives find (they have golden, silver or aluminum parachutes while the pilots have none) other positions, and the pilots go where and get what?? Some will go to corporate aviation and many will go to Home Depot or real estate agencies. Just think .. if you shut the place down where are you?? I am OK -- I just get a new tail number.

I support you guys ... but just watch out for the game of chicken.

Fly safe.

Hey Shovelhead, did you ever stop to consider that some of us never got a ballot? I called THRICE and I'm still waiting for my #@&%ing ballot!
