Anyone know any details on why the AC would not rotate?
I'm assuming (given the aircraft and the inspection panels that were removed from it) that the tail was not in the Take Off position, but what happened to cause no annunciators in the cockpit that the crew "should have" saw prior to the take off roll?

I'm not one to give out company information , MatthewJohn, but since I have a little knowledge on this incident.....

...you aren't even close.... and it is none of your freakin' business.

Sorry to be so blunt, but I want to make sure that no incidents are compromised at my company until the right time.
And that time is not now.

Warmest regards,

Warmest regards,

I'm sorry to hear that your concern for safety is limited to your company. And yes it is my business since I operate the exact same airplanes. I might not be in the "club", but we as pilots have a professional obligation to keep each other safe.

BTW, it was not a tail issue. Although it was some kind of flight control malfunction. Thank goodness they were on an 11K rynway!

Trust me, at the appropriate time, the information will be given out. Until then it is confidential company information until it is released publically.
This is to safeguard both the crews and company and as not to violate privacy agreements.

I will say this, if it were to be an issue that would be fleet wide, world wide, they will send the info out through the correct channels, not this public bitch board.
Please again accept my apology for being blunt, but our peers need to know that this forum is not the place to discuss it.

So Speed what did you forget???:p

I don't even know what you're talking about.......:D

No, seriously, I hadn't heard a thing.

Are you f-ing kidding me? This has got NOTHING to do with Netjets.....I could care less if this aircraft was serving as AF1, this could be a safety related issue.

I fly an Excel, and I would love to know if this was some mechanical problem I could check for so I don't end up throwing my airplane off the end of a short strip. For god's sake, get over yourself.

If you don't want to give out safety related information about a topic....just keep your mouth shut. If you don't know the answer, which I suspect you don't, don't say anything.

It is pure coincidence that it was a QS tail that it happened to. No one is asking for the deepest darkest secrets of NJA miantenance....we are just trying possible keep this from happened to someone that doesn't have 11K feet to stop....because that someone might be me.

O2B,
We have had loose lips here already violate some confidentiality statements concerning owners and other subjects on this public board, this is what I am trying to avoid. Also, overspeculation can be damaging to the crewmembers moral who were involved if they are reading this, which may be the case. It can also lead to false information and to incorrect assumptions.
If you cant accept that, fine, call me a donkey's posterior , tell me to get over myself, and I wont bat an eyelash. I wont care about your opinion nor others....I was blunt for a reason.
I will say this, when the information gets out, if it gets out, it is very eye opening. I do know what happened, i have seen the evidence, and I am damned glad all you excel pilots know your Sheit.
And that is that. No more on this topic from HSF.

If you are truly worried about the "loose lips" violating anything, just don't say anything. Its just that simple. Act like you never saw the question to begin with. No one in management will ever yell at you for being silent.

I never called you a Donkey's anything, nor would I. The reason you were blunt is because you want the world to know that you work for NJA and you are in the know. Your bluntness was unnecessary and unprofessional. If you want to get your point accross a simple "I believe this to be official NJA business and I cannot comment on it. Any information you recieve here should be considered speculative at best."

If you can't manage even that level of professionalism, kindly do not post at all.

He did apologize for being blunt.

He is in "the know".

And I agree with his discretion. At this point in time it is company info and for the well being of the crew nothing more should be said on the matter. I'm an XL pilot at NJA and I never heard anything about it except here, and for now that is fine with me. Let the union and the company cross their t's and dot their i's. If it was me in that cockpit, that is exactly what I would want.

We could have a plane and crew abducted by aliens and we wouldn't know about it until the new "safety presentation" @ company recurrent.
