The pay is spelled out in the contract, if hired in June 2004, awarded captain in July '06, pay is 3rd year reserve captain pay, $84,560.

Did some math, 10 hours of overtime a month, seems realistic, $7,000 more, up to 92K, work 4 holidays and get 2400 more, up to $94,400., that's without any extended days.

$10,000. a month a year from now when those 5 hit 3 years with NJA was a little optimistic, base pay will be $96,000., only comes out to $107,000. a year, would only be $8,916. a month using the 10 hours a month overtime and 4 holidays.

What I absolutely enjoy is when all you Netjet guys swarm an FBO lounge, sprawl your dang luggage all over the room, use every AC plug for your laptops and cell phones, eat your crew meals and sleep in the chairs without ever getting up for hours on end and don't have the common decency to let someone else sit down. Appreciate it....
I'm sorry. You should have said something and I would have moved my luggage to an unsecure area, unplugged my laptop and cell phone chargers, given you my crew meal, and offered you my chair. When I saw you standing there with that constipated look on your face I thought you just hadn't been laid in a while. I can't help you if you don't tell me what's bothering you. Next time, identify yourself and we'll part like the Red Sea and give you the respect you deserve.

Word in recurrent is RTS wants to be at 1000 planes and 5000-7000 pilots large. Time frame is unknown. At today's rate of 450 - 500 pilots per year and 2500 pilots on the seniority list my guess is 3 years, no more than 5 years if you want to hold out for something larger. If you look, the most junior Falcon CA is just over 5 years with company. I see the company growing just as much in the next 5 years as they did in the past 5 years.

Take it for what it is worth, just my $.02 WORTH.

I am curious to hear what others have to say.....

I hope you are right, my friend. That would be so sweet.

LOL, too funny!!!! Cosmotheass is a tad narcissistic. Where does this loser work anyway?

Don't forget the XL gets crossover premium which is 300/month for captains and 225 for FOs. If I was an FO I take the first XL bid I could get and chill there for 2 years before hoping a bigger a/c opens up. This is assuming I was hired within 2 years. FOs over 2 years old are getting near the point where they will be awarded a bigger a/c within 2 years. Bypass FOs are going to have to take the chance that they'll get captain in their a/c before the XL, but there is no way around that unless you want to lose bypass.

Sorry, I went back and re-read what you originally wrote. I see now what you were trying to say (it was late, sorry!). Still not likely that a 4th-yr PIC will make $120k, but it could happen, especially in the X.

Yeah, but you pay the price for it in the X....

Oh, my fellow brethren and co-worker comso!! I totally agree. These netjet guys think the fbo lounges belong to them. Heaven forbid you interrupt a lounge full of yellow ties. Hopalong, you sound like a real "winner".
