Are you seeing any recalled furloughees leaving airline jobs (i.e., low-cost carriers and legacies) to return to Netjets? Which airlines are they coming from besides regionals?

Just the opposite. We're seeing line pilots of relatively decent seniority leaving the company for all kinds of airlines including Spirit and (gulp) Allegiant.

Most of the returning furloughed pilots have been riding it out at charter companies, small Part 91 corporate gigs, a few at the regionals, and a fair number that were unfortunately out of a cockpit entirely. And we're damn glad to have them back.

But I can't imagine a soul at any decent LCC or legacy airline leaving to come back to NetJets. There are plenty of reasons why the recall acceptance rate is south of 40%. And falling.

I hope the fractional industry doesn't lower the required minimums because of this. :erm:

Southwest +1%. If they can make that much flying trailer trash around then we're worth at least that flying the heads of capitalism around. I've been back on property for a little over 48 hours after almost five years on the street. Our new contract will be 2007 IBB +++ or I'll vote to strike.
Don't you guys ride on SWA?

Welcome back! We look forward to when everyone has their chance to return. You've been back for 8 minutes and are all set to burn the place to the ground already. I will agree that you guys are worth every penny and then some; but after 5 years you're back demanding more. If you haven't found better in 5 years, would you agree that this is on of the better places to be employed? By all means negotiate what you're worth, but you being in strike mode after 48 hours is sad.
