Based upon your direct observation of our current management team, not to mention their 4 pillars demand, can you say with any confidence that your entire compensation package and QOL would still be the same without the protections of a CBA that was "forced" upon you?

Given that we were forced to merge and under the tender ministrations of CMH, I agree with you that things would be worse without the CBA. However, I also believe things for the NJI people would be as good financially, and with a better company culture and a better quality of life if we had not been forced to merge. Not a big deal, however, as the union seems to be reasonable, as I have said before. So I am content. Just worried a little that the union might press for too much.

:erm: That's the point you knucklehead.
What is the point? he has the same or better package?

Ignore YIP......it's a losing battle trying to help him figure it all out......
Ok thanks for the tip, I will ignore him, you are right it is hard to figure him out.

The point is those who are not protected by a CBA at Netjets have already been forced to take some rather large concessions. Had NJI remained separate, there is no question they would have faced similar or worse.

Ok I see. You're one of the "special" people.
Thank you my mom thought so also. And you too are special, we are all special. It is really special that my thread has taken on such a special life, don't ya think?

BTW I really do wish you the best in your TA, hope it is a win-win outcome where everyone is pleased and no one who just gave up their job for a recall finds themselves on the street again.

Time to right this ship, how about a mass rebid in the next CBA. Let's see what everyone's seniority will actually hold. Not going to happen as management like to have there cake and we get it shoves down our throat. Bypass pay for all. Better yet, one level of pay for all. International override for all regardless of equipment, but base pay on one scale.

NJI reaped the benefits of weak scope for years. Why was life so good there? Because of the threat to keep union out. Good for you, enjoy it while you have it, but one level of seniority is conning to a theater near you, and it's a horror show for some. Find yourself a sweet 91 job if your services will be compensated accordingly. The alter ego two carrier plan is over, we are all one unhappy family. Enjoy your crewfood and min rest turns'

...what is it you are all looking for?

Southwest +1%. If they can make that much flying trailer trash around then we're worth at least that flying the heads of capitalism around. I've been back on property for a little over 48 hours after almost five years on the street. Our new contract will be 2007 IBB +++ or I'll vote to strike.
