DFW Ive been told( True who knows?) that we are going from one upto three gates in DFW. Maybe a rumor but to me it would make sense no LCC flies in and out of DFW with any presence. It also is one of our best routes (ATL-DFW) as far as loads and margin are concerned. Also we just added DFW-MCO. Someone above my paygrade will make that call.

Rumor about a year ago that Southwest wanted to build a terminal at Millington Airport (about 15 miles north of MEM) and fly out of there. But it didnt happen.

CAE!!!

Cae!
I vote is for Columbia.....a natural draw from the surrounding cities....also they are about halfway done with a very large covered parking area.....major and long term addition....would attractive people from cities like Augusta, Charlotte, Charleston, etc......besides it will make my commute alot easier....a major consideration I am sure!

Hazmat may be on the right track but instead of going North of memphis I think that they may look South. Rumor has it that Tunica, Mississippi, about 30 minutes South of Memphis, is expanding its runway enough to allow 737 service. Y'all may think i'm crazy but Tunica is the second largest gambling center in the country and Southwest would give NWA a run for their money in the Memphis market.

Tunica would barely support Casino Express. It's not Vegas or even Atlantic City.
