Gulfstreamers... Ruining the industry and now ruining threads about Cessna's new hottness.
ooooooh, he's a Gulfstreamer.
It's so clear now.
(He probably couldn't land a C-152 either)
Kind of funny, the ATC folks at CRQ are calling the Cirrus, the Serious...JimNtexas said:An updated Cessna Cardinal FG with 200hp motor, G1000, and a BRS chute would kill Cirrus.

But since it was quoted...
OMG I've landed an airplane on grass and I'm just a lowly 250 hour know nothing!!
Rants and childish outbursts? Oh, thats what you call them now. How funny because thats not what they are. They are collected arguements against those who choose to make remarks about my career and life. And, they are directed at people, and only those people, who directly offend me. If you don't appreciate my posts in response to these folks, then maybe you should have a chat with them. You could start by telling them to stop making fun of other pilots and blaming one another for this industry's problems. Personally, I do not believe that I am on the "top of the world". If you knew me, you would know that I am very humble. I take the time to teach and understand, instead of blame. I agree that their points are valid, but they are not justified or backed. Mine are. It's really painful trying to weed through The Russian's rants to get to the point of all these threads. It would be nice for a change not to see a post from him on a thread. Your comments all sound like they come from a young, abused teenager that has been bullied all his life. I know you think you're on top of the world with your CFI and BE-1900 experience but there are a plethora of pilots out there that have been neither and their points are valid. I don't have anything against you because I don't know you but Flightinfo would be a much more interesting place without all your childish outbursts. For the most part, I love this site, it's just the few like The Russian that bring it down.
However, this had to be taken care of now.
Come back when you can play hardball little one.
You payed for a job, and now you spend your free time and what money they pay you back getting all inter-wiggity up in the net-grills of those who point out this fact. Double guns, winner. Welcome to the ignore list.
As far as the new Cessna goes, what's wrong with the 152?
Russia, stop hijacking threads. There are dozens of PFT/Gulfstream threads lying around. Go jump on one of those to repeat the same dang things over and over.
Here is a story about Cessna's XMC or "Experimental Magic Carpet" that they toyed with in the 70's, with a link to a picture of it. http://1000aircraftphotos.com/HistoryBriefs/CessnaXMC.htm Twin boom, single engine pusher. Think Skymaster, but smaller, with no front engine. Probably not anything like what Cessna has planned for the LSA market, but who knows?Gryphon said:I'm wondering if Cessna is seeing all these others (Cirrus, Diamond, etc) getting on the training aircraft bandwagon, and is whipping something up to stay competetive... Training in the 152 is ok, and at 5'6 165 i'm not squeezing in there, but still, to not be rubbing shoulders with the cfi would be nice. Time will tell what they have up thier sleeve.
Neat little plane...westwind said:Here is a story about Cessna's XMC or "Experimental Magic Carpet" that they toyed with in the 70's, with a link to a picture of it. http://1000aircraftphotos.com/HistoryBriefs/CessnaXMC.htm Twin boom, single engine pusher. In the end the project was dropped because it also provided no significant performance increase over the C-150 model already in production and Cessna had engine-cooling problems with the XMC.
