Why is OS still booking 7 people on an X from CRQ to TEB...non-stop, when the temp is 90 degrees?
Why are they booking 5 people on an XL from LAX to CLT... NON-STOP?
Why are they booking 8 people on an XL when it only has 7 seats?
Those are good questions. Did they really happen or were they just fatigued? Now how often does that happen as opposed to pilots falling asleep in the cockpit? Not often I would guess. Now I hear that recording is the rage. NetJets has just ordered 420 new 72-hour digital cvrs that transmit to cell systems. It is set for a snore alert. (Just kidding) In the beta test it couldn’t tell the difference between a snore and gas and since the test crew were full of hot air, they are looking to refine the systems before they are installed in August.
Yes, I do understand that you guys do an outstanding job of making things happen. Make no mistake about it. Everyone I know have the greatest respect for your flying and how you take care of the Owners. You do make it happen every day. When you step back and look at what we together achieve every day it is amazing. Tens of thousands of details integrated into systems that work and some that have challenges. It is not perfect and never will be, but it can be better. I just strongly disagree with the tactics that your MEC is using and the approach they have toward negotiations. Why do you not get the concept that the company has made x offer and offered to let you examine the books to prove that the offer is valid with the economics of the company? The NMB gets it, but I don’t understand why you do not. If you are more valuable than what you feel is offered, then why don’t you go to where you can get the value you want? It is obvious that it is too far between what you want and what there will be.
The only people you are holding hostage is yourself.
