IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU WIN OR LOSE-IT'S HOW YOU PLAY THE GAME!

You are kidding right?

My favourite George Patton quote:

Flyfish

They were hired to run this company, safely and efficiently while still being good stewards of our owners money (remember...the people that allow us to receive a paycheck??)

Safely? Well that is pretty well up to us as pilots. We are ultimately responsible for that.

Efficiently? Yep thats their gig. No need to comment on how they are doing that.

I for one, give them credit for that because if it were me, I would not have subjected myself to this abuse past day one.

If I was being paid what they are you could put me on one of those "dunk tanks" and throw softballs at me.

How would you like it if they got on this board and defamed you as blatantly as you do them?

I defamed them? Are you lumping me in with all these other posters? I went back and read my post again. I am giving my opinion of the DVD and the recurrent speeches. Are you an employee? HAve you seen the DVD? Have you been through a recurrent?

Treat others as you would like to be treated. Didn't your Mother ever tell you that if you don't have anything nice to say...don't say anything at all...

You said it not me. You better go talk to their mothers, not mine. Its OK for them to degrade us with their speeches and DVD's, but if we respond we are degrading them and are bad people?

You need to go look in the mirror, You have something on you nose.

There, now I'm being degrading.

semore-

lol. this was a funny post.

And yes, the line guys are responsible for it all- flying, safety. attending training. and I am sure all the other guys are making alot more than you are. I wonder what the average mgr makes-

Nothing says "thank you" better than cash.

i wonder what mgt would say if you guys said- keep it all the same- just tell us how much more cash you can give us- Then if you kept everything else the same and got 50% across the board from today on forward- no retro- no signing bonus- take the frills out- same schedule, same everything but 50% more cash.

Got a better one you could use for all trips if you're on the Falcon ($%#@, I should have put in that last bid) Tell them you don't have an Emergency Checklist other than the manufacturer's original in the AFM. Ain't bad for someone like me; but I read FRENCH

Actually, I've riden on the Falcon and can say that the emergency checklist is in English but very poor nevertheless. For training ,at FSI ,they use a reprint of the applicable pages in a 3 ringed binder. Most of the pilots carry the unapproved (but safer) FlightSafety one and just scratch out the label "Pilot Checklist" and write "Pilot Notes." It's just too hard to get to the Dasalt checklist w/o groping the stewardess and then you'll probably be in another emergency before you can find the appropriate page(s).

Netjets version: It doesn't matter if you win or lose-it's how you place the blame!

None of the schedulers violated any company rule. No scheduler was penalized and all returned to their job.

It was concluded that schedulers did no wrong in using volunteers crewmembers for covering ASAP trips. No evidence was shown that indicated schedulers treated crewmembers better as a result of recieving small gifts.
I was part of the investigation and will regret it for the rest of my days here as the schedulers continue to take their revenge on us. We picked the wrong hill to fight this battle on. Of the accused schedulers: One threatened to exercise his privileges under the caste system, another had pictures of the CEO in the old bubble bath at 625 Hamilton and the third didn't even get the perfunctory escort off the property. You see, there was a little blue dress back in CMH that had been damaged in the same manner as the one down at Gulfstream Aerospace in Georgia. And that's how we all wound up in the mess we're in now with the new regime.

Revenge? Battle? Regime? Dude, it's been over a year. Seek counsling.

What Proof?

Get real and get over it. There was no solid proof. Nothing the ethics investigators found. No paper trail. So there was nothing! They did it all legal and by the book, just like a DNIF or writing up an aircrafct to make sure it is in optimum condition. They didn't do anything more than many of you NJ pilots are doing now, just in a different way. So what is your beef? Get over it!

Yeah, that makes sense....why dont you just say "I didnt exercise any forethought and get my passport renewed 6 months before it expired."

If you can get a physical ontime then you can get a passport ontime.

You really are a dope. There are two months to get your physical and you must get it renewed in those months to get reinbursed. Try getting it renewed a month before the month it expires.... Expense denied.

Now, unlike EJI, when it comes to passports, the company will pay for one. You must keep it until it expires(not the month it expires). Then you mail it in and advise scheduling to take you off of international status. Your expired passport gets returned with a cancellation stamp and you WAIT for your new one and the bill. That's all the company will approve. Should you decide to go with a special Expedited Service, the company will deny your entire bill. They won't even have you pay just the difference. You take the whole bill yourself.

I refuse to do favours for a company that behaves in this puerile manner. Plus, it's fun to watch scheduling continually drop the ball and try to ASAP me to Central America! No more favours, fly the pledge!
