Interesting....

Just got an email from Gruman Fan, he got kicked off F.I. and cant log in, and his and Rusty's posts are G-O-N-E.... Wow! Somebody bypassed socialism and went straight to communism.

I guess F.I. moderators don't like when "real" conversations surface.

Oh well, back to your regularly scheduled program of wise cracks and stupid sayings....

Wolf,

It's OK - tell him or her, he or she can still send me that email with his or her name on it.

I always enjoy meeting the tough guys/girls and I don't want to pass up the opportunity make sure I hear all his or her feelings.

Especially since it has been made clear I had nothing to do with GPAC's unwinding and the fact that most of the GPAC leadership is/has been working with NJASAP with the first week of its launch. That first GPAC launch was a little off the charts. It looks like it all worked out.

He/she has the name and can find me in the lookup function on the bb.

Thanks you sir - all my best.

Bill

I was taking note of your outrage for use of names through the first 10 pages of the thread...

I guess initials "BO" and a nickname "Dunner" (not the man's real name) are very different. I can see how one could cross the line and the other doesn't????

Once again, the issues are:
1) The economic landscape has [clearly] changed
2) Private aviation will need to adjust to the new marketplace
3) Washington is attacking private aviation [in policy and optics] and its customer base
4) Every operator in private aviation has seen significant reductions in flight demand
5) The marketplace is shrinking, yet a few operators will gain in relative market share through this downturn
6) The focus should be/must be on retaining and creating new pilot/aviation jobs
7) Tens of thousands of private aviation jobs have evaporated in 6 short months
8) The Crew Integration and Operational Excellence programs will do a lot to improve our operations and preserve jobs
9) The pilots have sound representation and are led by good people
10) The pilots need to engage the issues and participate at every level: DC, CMH, etc

and,
11) There is a big difference between "BO" and "Dunner" on FI????

Those are the points of the discussion. I hope we are done here.

Thanks,

.

12. I wrote my own self serving LOAs, and approved them without anyone noticing. Went to management, and left all my best friends in charge, and thought no one would notice that.

Wow, but they did, and now, things, they are changing.

Ah, the facts.

The Union's internal and external legal counsel as well as the entire EBoard and union negotiators have stated the above is false.

Of course, there was a union political campaign last fall and some individuals decided to make up a story and start their little whisper campaign. Unfortunately, it got some traction. But, as stated above some sick individuals LIED!

But then again, you know all that already

Don't leave out the fact "my friends" were overwhelming elected by the membership...

FYI - It was some of "my other friends" that started the whisper campaign. Didn't bother me then - doesn't now - too many now - the facts were there to clearly see the what, when, where, why, and how. That's just life in the union biz!

I doubt much will change - the pilot group is solid and the survey data is clear. There will always be this or that and a disgruntled component.

But Yes, I have no doubt some will try to spin things up. I give the pilots more credit than that - they get it, always have.

Enjoy,
.

NJI pilots are not allowed on the union web boards.

Where else can we talk?

We (NJASAP Integration Team) are working on a solution to this problem. The NJASAP NJI Boards have been up for months, but we've encountered a technical problem. I'm told it was being worked on today. I'm hoping to have an announcement out this weekend.

Classy

And I do like the poem that Kipling wrote and read by Rod Blagojevich during one of his many news conferences.

Nobody is denying what BO did in the past and that my life is better for it. For someone to come on FI from the office of the president and post has to make one wonder. Sure they can cover it with catchy phrases of the day and say they are just "getting the word out" but one thing we learned is that BO is a brilliant man with a mind like a steel trap so why would he be posting on FI? Then time and time again say he's done, not posting anymore but BAM he's baaaacck. We've seen many a managment personell post here. Each like the pilots had their own agenda.

My reality is different because I'm able to see all sides and to call BS when each side is putting their spin on the same message. I've been seeing it a lot lately.

Try to shout down and intimidate the voices all you want. The past is just that. Your new job and your new roll puts you in a conflict with those same pilots that you fought for. You might not believe it but you can only serve one master RTS not the pilots anymore. I would have moved on to a new position too because you had gone as far as you wanted in your old one. The timing, and the grey area during your move not included.

Curious to what the future has to offer because its not over. Oh by the way YES we get it the economy is changing.

Don't let a good crisis pass you by.

I will validate this statement. You had nothing to do with GPAC dissolving.

Regardless of who said what, posted this or that... the future remains the only thing that can be changed as we haven't written it yet.

I have no problems telling my story. I got involved in union politics because ALPA was corrupt and I was one of thousands that paid for it. Yes, I did enjoy my union job, I was good at it, but I was able to balance things with the company people I worked with.

Crappy $50k/year union job at Comair or $100k/year flying a Gulfstream at NetJets....

You tell me what job you would take. Im sorry if I came here and totally enjoy what I do, enjoy who I work for, enjoy my job... sorry! Does that mean I hate the union guys? No, I've changed my attitude in the past 3 years, Old F*rt will tell you that.

Lets move on. Hopefully to the union boards. ;)

Wolfy,
I suppose you're gonna stay on here, even after the integration.
I hope you can tolerate it.
Fly safe!

Fair enough. Now moving on.

You have better access to our customer satisfaction surveys than us. You and I both have faith in the professionalism of our crews. What else would you have us do? All you have done on this thread is spread FUD, offered no suggestions, and essentially acted rather B19ish.

We get the fact the economy tanked, we are under attack in Washington, and the revenue trips are down.
