The October classes had a good mix of wait times. Some turned their app in back in January and some as late as August. If you want CMH or LAX the wait is shorter. We had a few DAL and one or two PBI. Nothing for TEB. I hope this helps out. Sit tight, from the time I interviewed to my DOH was 16 days. Some people only had two. It moves fast when you get the job offer. Best of luck to all people waiting.

I rec'd the application about 2 weeks after emailing in my resume.

I then rec'd the accepted email about 10 days after sending the app 2nd day mail.

Hoping to get CMH.

Good luck to all.

I have heard that the reason some apps take longer than others is the domicile preference. Any truth to this.

It took 5 days for me to get the application from when I emailed my resume. Will let you know after I mail the app what happens. I hear they like us flexjet guys coming over there! I'm totally burned out on all the rhetoric and empty talk at flex.

When will they learn that it is smarter to take care of the pilots you have than to keep replacing them...

Good Luck, DH!

When will NJA learn that it is smarter to take care of the pilots you have than to keep replacing them when they leave for SWA, FEDEX, and UPS?

Yes, a few NJ pilots have left for those places, but the vast majority are satisfied with their situation at NJA (recent professional survey result) and view it as a career worth keeping. I personally exchanged PMs with a NJ pilot who recently decided to move on to a company on your list. He told me that the decision wasn't an easy one. I also regularly exchange PMs with pilots interested in applying to NJA. Things aren't perfect there but the pilots have made a lot of progress in building a rewarding career. In giving credit where credit is due, I propose that they deserve recognition for raising the bar in the frac industry.

Interestingly enough, my husband turned down a chance to go to SWA last year and doesn't regret his decision. He's happy where he's at.

Well mailed in the app and arrived last friday (priority mail) but did not receive any official communication yet, probably is still early, meanwhile I will keep pacing the room when I am not fying...

What if you meet the qualifications and it has been six weeks and you haven't received an application via mail. I got the automatic reply. Any advice?

Good News....an update.

My buddy just got the interview email. (So, the recieved app. email was on the 11th of Sep. and got the news today.....so that is 2 months and 6 days.)

Now that he has the interview scheduled ..... what should he use to prep? I know that I've read aviation...something...interviews.com ..... is this right?

Anyway thought everyone should know it just took a little over 2 months to see an email on an interview. And, it seems they are interviewing all bases right now for classes starting in Jan/Feb.

Thanks for your time and info.

The website you are referring to is: http://www.aviationinterviews.com/

Also, do a search on here - lots of people have related their experiences.

Good luck to your friend.

Which domicile choice did he check? I have a "friend" who got the app accepted email in July, still waiting for PBI interview.

Wouldn't it be nice if the confirmation email also included a rough idea of when NJA would be interviewing for the applicant's chosen domicile? I suppose one could always ask? I know that being in limbo is difficult. You have my sympathy. Good luck to all of you applying and/or waiting to interview. Netjetwife

Well he said the email included all of the domicile's on it. And, that all domiciles are in play. Or, at least that is the way it was described to me.

At one point this month he asked what was taking so long. I told him to give a quick and short (polite) email to D.M. and ask if you have missed any emails or phone calls.

He did and got an email back within 30 minutes with the possible interview dates.

I don't know anymore....sorry.

EDIT: I forgot to say he wants CMH or DAL.....nothing else.

At what point in the application process do they send off the forms to your previous employers? Is it after you interview or when you submit the application?

Wha to do?

All right, it looks like I need some enlightenment,

I sent the complete application by priority mail 3 weeks ago and it arrived at destination shortly after that but I did not receive any official communication (e-mail or call) that the application was received and accepted or otherwise,
what should I do? wait a little longer or should I write an e-mail and inquire about it?
Is it normal that you do not hear from NJA until they really want to interview you until they need to fill in on the domicile requested?

Thanks.

P.S.:can anybody PM me the e-mail address where to send my question?

I understand that Derinda is out of the office this week.

So, be patient.

Of, course I say that ..... I don't have a dog in this interview race.
