Congrats on the interview, practice the Microsoft sim with the baron or king air, and wear a suit. Good luck to you!

Dear, dear, Ready2Fly!

Arrogance does not equal experienced, in most cases. Obviously, this is a lesson you need to learn someday. Humility will get you much farther in an aviation career.

Personally, I'm a bit fond of the Shorts. I believe a pilot who has had to slug it out at low altitude, in the weather, and actually hand flying, has a much better appreciation and better education for a flying career.

An probably has sharper skills than those who push buttons...not that there's anything wrong with that! ;)

Any word on how often they're interviewing? I got my application in too late for this week's interviews but am really hoping to get a call for the next round.

I have sent resumes to them but I never hear a peep from them. The guys who get the interview have far less time than I do, what gives? What exactly are they looking for? Just curious.

I don't work for ACC, and haven't interviewed with them, but I'm guessing probably what's hurting you is your total time. Seems like they like to hire really low time guys (700-800 hrs), probably in the hopes that they'll stay there for a long time.

They might look at someone with too many hours as you just wanting to fill some time until you find your next job, then leave them high and dry.
Just a guess.
