That's BS too. We tried that with John Malone. It worked great until DALPA chopped his nuts off for talking to us, then recalled him and replaced him with Moak, another hardliner.

Other than cutting off virtually all communication with the ASA and CMR MECs, acting like he's the king of ALPA, and pounding the podium like Nikita Khrushchev every time a concession comes before him (then caving later), nothing.

John Malone saw the big picture that if DALPA and the DCIs don't work together, we're all screwed. Malone took serious steps toward achieving inclusive brand scope. Moak picked up where Burgey left off trying to build a higher wall.
