I was talking about the DJ thing with Silver which when she rules it wont be a "law". Do you seriously believe the company would have moved off the Kirby proposal at all even if we had no seniority dispute? I agree we could have had that stinking contract many years ago...why do you westies love Kirby so much?

F Kirby! DP can shove Kirby and his contract proposal up his ass. This is just another Easthole myth you guys love to perpetrate. The Kirby proposal, nic inclusive has always been DOA on the West. Of course a DJ judgement isn't "law" per se, it's a binding CLARIFICATION of Law. If she says the company can be held LEGALLY Liable under hybrid DFR if they accept a non nic list, the company isn't EVER going to accept any other list as they will be in clear and present danger of being successfully sued. That is the entire point of this law suit. Not to delay contract negotiations as your completely idiotic leadership espouses.

You seem to want to down play and diminish the DJ Proceedings as if it's not that big a deal. Be prepared for another Huge disappointment in the next few months.

F Kirby! DP can shove Kirby and his contract proposal up his ass. This is just another Easthole myth you guys love to perpetrate. Maybe, but some on this forum seem to imply that it would have been a good start. "We would be voting on a second contract by now". The Kirby proposal, nic inclusive has always been DOA on the West. Of course a DJ judgement isn't "law" per se, it's a binding CLARIFICATION of Law. Binding? She is going to take our right to appeal away too? If She wont and can't she says the company can be held LEGALLY Liable under hybrid DFR if they accept a non nic list you mean a company negotiating with a union on sections of a proposed contract, the company isn't EVER going to accept any other list as they will be in clear and present danger of being successfully sued because they re-opened, during negotiations, a "closed" section of a proposed, future contract? That will be dismiised very early but DFRII (against your union not your very highly paid management because management doesn't have a duty to represent you) might be successful. That is the entire point of this law suit. Not to delay contract negotiations as your completely idiotic leadership AGREED espouses.

You seem to want to down play and diminish because it will affect me as much as the injunction did the DJ Proceedings as if it's not that big a deal. Be prepared for another Huge disappointment in the next few months.

You guys are working under a contract negotiated by your beloved ALPA so why aren't you happy?

becket, you are just another example of Why the East wants No part in a merger with the west..

Here we go again. Go ahead and start up the East chorus of "we could never fly together, it's just too toxic". And yet your pilots are certainly content to fly with West pilots who were furloughed as a result of the merger with the East and have rejoined the ranks below ALL of the East pilots (*including the 3rd list group, which is a huge (BLANK) sandwich). So basically, you CAN fly with West pilots...as long as they're junior to you, right? Nice.

Not gonna happen. To much at stake. The only solution requires a give and take approach, hense a negotiated settlement. If the west continues to demand the Nic, this whole mess will last decades. The west has the Nic, but the east has the VOTES!! No compromise, no CBA. The east lingers on loa93, and the west stagnates.

Do you need to be reminded yet again that the Nic IS a compromise? The top 517 spots going to East pilots and then ratio'd beyond? Hardly the winning lottery ticket the East is making it out to be. So what the East would like to see is the West pilots to further compromise on the compromise? Is that what would make you happy?

Take Doh with C and R and let's all get a freaking pay raise like we deserve...

M

MCDU. Unlike many of your (supposed) East counterparts, you, sir, are a moron and everyone's collective intelligence actually decreases after reading your posts.

What the F mAkes you think any West pilots ever wanted to be associated with your dying POS US Air? "hey guys, you know what would be cool? If we could merge with a bunch of dishonest, unethical pricks who don't have enough sense after multiple furloughs over two DECADES to find a job aside from their bloated Regional Airline in Pittsburgh"

Right. Nobody wanted to ever be in the same room with you cowards either. Your votes will never trump the Law. You'll be on BK pay/work rules for many more years to come. Someday, somehow, a contract is going to be put to a vote with the Federally mandated Nic. Award. It will pass on the first round.

Dude, I like you...but you gotta relax. Be cool like Fonzi and don't let the baiting get to you. Things will work themselves out in the long run and you'll be able to explain what happened here to your grand kids someday in the same conversation as personal integrity instead of some BS story about situational ethics. In the mean time, just smile and wave, boys. Smile and wave.

Prove it. Put out a TA with NIC and vote. If it fails, then deal with that.

Votes talk, ... well you know the rest

Well, I guess we'll just see how the run-off election pans out. This should be a bellwether of how a potential cba encompassing the Nic, might turn out..

Don't you remember, we already negotiated. All you came up with was DOH.

OK, say we negotiate again, what do you have for us?

You're all free to vote no until the cows come home. Won't change a thing. The Nic. is the only list you're ever going to find in a new contract.

Not exactly. It's a referendum on the politics of doing nothing. The USAPA hardliners have produced nothing of value for the vast majority of dues-paying members.

While Ferguson/Koontz/Holmes might support the NIC, they can't unilaterally implement it. What they can (and will) do is knock down the walls that have been created to separate the pilot groups and build unity. The T/A vote will fall where it will, but at least USAPA will not stand in the way of the pilot's will any longer.

A post the size of a pocket dictionary written to half the board members and you tell someone to relax?
