More recalls at UAL

I'm looking forward to the seeing the updated Seniority List when it comes out in July. I'm saving the old one for comparison, and want to see how many senior pilots decided to leave.

That would be an interesting study. If you end up doing the leg work on that, post for us what you find out.

Most junior I know of so far getting a call today was #7943 I think. 13 March 00 class.

Keeping track of all the posts here I've noticed that the most junior pilot recalled so far is #7886, DOH 2/21/2000. Does anyone know the #/DOH of the most jr. person on the recall list....that way I can keep a mental countdown.

With the new 777 orders it sounds like you all could use some help. I've got two letters on my on-line app. and am patiently (sorta) waiting for everyone on the furlough list to choose the recall or bypass before they come knocking on doors for guys off the street...hopefully before I get lost in the commuter murk forever.

Most junior recalled so far is 7943 and the most junior on the list is 8915.

I think calsses will continue through the summer (my opinion only). I'd say you will see classes, smaller classes, in July and August with the class size going back up to 30 in September or October. I think they'll continue to have small classes during the summer not only because they'll still be short of LCO fo's but because they can't pair two Captains together in training. There will still be 320 and 300 upgrades going through TK through the summer. But I've been wrong before. Again, just my opinion.

Interesting point. I thought they may shut down in the fall and then start up again in Jan-Feb timeframe. It would be great if they continue to recall throughout the year.

Any UAL peeps who went to jetBlue thinking of going back to UAL since it looks like jetBlue may be going out of business soon?

My roomie, a furloughed UAL pilot, says it isn't looking good for jetBlue and many ex-United people there are going to take the second round, which is going to affect his recall.
