I had my interview on the 20 of last month. Did not make it. There were 6 of us and only 1 did. Pat Dole said that many pilots are quiting because they do not want to move. Not necessarly moving to another airline, some are getting jobs with local charter companies and some getting out all together. I don't care what anyone says, AWAC is one of the best regional carrier to work for. Their second year pay for the BAE146 was even higher than Comair! Even if you compare their pay for all years, they are right there on top. The people that interviewed me were great to say the least. And according to Pat, they went for 4 years without any grievances. That speaks volumes to me. If you get a job with them, consider yourself lucky, they need pilots badly, but it seems like they are also selective. I am really bumed out that I did not make it, it is truly a great company to work for. I did very well on both the interview and the sim. Don't really know why I did not make it.

If anyone can make it to the Air-Inc fair this weekend in ATL AWAC will be there for you to personally hand over a resume and get your point across.

I guess that means I can't call in sick so I can go there to find another job. Rats!

I just heard that AWAC will also be doing pre-lim interviews at ATL now. Believe Capt. Pat Doyle and HR reps are attending.

Just found out, no interviews in December because of holidays. Interviews will resume in January.

Just got a call for an interview date.... Late november or early December... take your choice.

There's a class starting December 5th. The schedule is a little different because they are giving a week off for x-mas and new year.

How long was your wait from sending your resume to phone call? I sent mine in about 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything yet. Just curious. Thanks in advance.

it took awhile

It took awhile for them to call me back at first, but once I set in an updated one with 121 experience I got a call in a week. they are really busy right now i guess

I was just in the interview w/ GANGDEV. I'm glad that I made the cut. Us 2 were the only two that made it. They are having a Dec class. Which works out great 'cause I can go home for the holidays. I can't wait to start.

I went to the interview session in Memphis and then finally got a call. Before that I had sent it in a few times over a strectch of about 6 months. Best of luck.

I just sent in my resume a few days ago. So far I have seen nothing on the company website about future information sessions throughout the US. Any new info on where they will be next? Or just sit back and relax and keep sending them the resume?

Thank you
