I heard that all that is left in the contract are wages and vacation. Can anyone confirm this?

(Yes, I realize how sticky these last two items usually are in negotiations.)

The negotiation report tells you exactly whats left. From the last one I looked at it looks like 12-13 items left. Some can be TA'd just by needing a signature, some will change since pay and beni's havent been brought up yet.

I do believe that there are 3 sessions scheduled for October alone. If the past couple of month's bargaining sessions are of any indication of "good faith" negotiating we should be well on our way. Like you stated, compensation, bennefits, scheduling, pto etc. are probably going to take some elbow grease. THe LOA's are nice to see as well.

So, how about that 5th fleet type?

Thats not what I heard, I was told that last week the company sent some low level guys who can't make decisions so the Union then left the table early since it was a waste of time and money.

I am not sure if things have changed this week.

Like I said before the pilots are getting pi$$ed off and morale is sinking right before Thanksgiving.

Didn't FLOPS have GIVs at some point already? What happened to them?

There were only 2 in the fleet, and they weren't part of Sheeringa's go-backward fleet plan. Been gone a couple of years.

If GIV's show up again, and I think it's still a BIG IF, they will likely be previously enjoyed SP's. Also, for this to work (as with any fractional airplane) we'll need at least 5 aircraft. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next few months.

"时势造英雄"(pin-yin:shi shi zao ying xiong)

I spoke with a union friend of mine this weekend and had asked if there were any negotiations and he said no there were none scheduled for last week, however there are three scheduled for October. Let's hope for the best and hopefully won't expect the worst!

Hang in there team, don't give it away

Get things in perspective.

You saw how long it took us at Netjets.

Remember, it's business, nothing personal.

Those people on the management side of the table are trying to get the best deal for the company so they can get their bonuses and feed their families as well.

That Moisture guy they hired to sell us a lemon at Netjets was a character, almost like play acting.

We knew he was full of sh!t. He knew,we knew, he was full of sh!t! We knew, he knew, we knew, he was full of sh!t.

He was just doing the job they paid him for. (I think they paid to much)

I would love for RTS to write his memoirs some day and spill how his hired gun really did? I'll bet it would be a pretty good read.

Don't give up, do not sell yourselves short.

How could you not be worth every bit as much as we are at Netjets?

You should hopefully capitalize on any short comings we had on our contract.

Take care, Semore

Actually they were supposed to work on Section 19 - scheduling and the company just couldn't pull it together with NBAA and other stuff going on. Because of this the Union team decided that there was no reason to stay. To the company's credit, they did pay all Union expenses so that nothing was lost by them traveling to CGF. It's my understanding that the company did also respond by emailing their comments on Section 19 to the Union by last Friday so that they would be prepared for negotiations this week.

That's not what I heard..... :D

negotiastalliations

NO CONTRACT= NO PEACE We are tired of the stall tactics, very tired. Hearing that an assistant psm was sent to the negotiating table does not make the fires on the homefront burn warm. Throw those stupid pilots a bone with crewmeals and get us through another peak travel season unscathed. Bye Bye Scamjay, I sure wish I could have been at your farewell party. What was that last parting statement? Something like if we paid you netjets salaries we would be out of business in six months. How about don't pay us and we'll put you out of business in less than six months. Hollow promises and crying woe is me don't pay the bills. We are professionals and will be compensated as such. I hope your birds are in top notch condition for the peak season.

Great Post !!!!!

There are many who agree with your statements.

right on.....now if you could convince the rest of those A teamers at flops to not fly sick, tired or fly broke airplanes ill bet you'll have a contract pretty quick. Strength is in the vote.....strength is in the numbers.

The word is getting around very fast that negotiations are now being delayed by management.

It looks like peak season is going to be just like last year for the pilots, company and owners again.

What a shame just when the owners started to notice a positive change.

YUP...
KR is here for a reason, and like last time, doesn't plan to stay. They are kissing our butts now, but just wait if they succeed at luring everyone back into the cult.... The goal for them is to dissolve the union, then he can yet AGAIN sell his happy group of campers to the charge of some miserable SOB that will make MS look like an angel.
Let's put an END to this neverending rollercoaster of misery and gain some sense of stability in that we don't have to worry WHAT our pay or perks will be IF this or IF that...

I don't know if I buy that... He has been hiring lots of his buddies away from other jobs. Why do you hire people away from other jobs if you don't plan on staying for the long term?

Because Corp Wings is more likely to go under and Flops has a bigger piggy to divert to exec salary..., but excluding that, since when does KR have loyalties long term to ANYone?

What was the name of that truck driving school? Truck Masters....

I think it is fairly obvious at this point. KR has no intention of signing a contract anytime soon. Back to the same old smoke and mirrors crap. Going to be a long travel season. :(

Who, exactly, is negotiating from management? I thought it was Ricci? It doesn't make sense that there are delays unless this company is negotiating another sale with another company.

I believe our beloved Mr. Tyler is one of the parties on manglement's behalf. Once we have a CBA and a contract ratified he is no longer needed, nor would F&H. In my opinion, I can see BT and F&H stalling as much as they can to hang on to "job security" and "billable hours." Just my .02

Isn't Peak travel coming up soon? ;)

The A teamers at FLOPS have been, and continue to be a burden on our progress. The Flight Options IBT 1108 has come a long way in maturing as an organization, but here is only so much we can do when there is a group of our members who still expect someone else to get things done and deliver a contract to their laps. This indifference needs to end.

Yea our "A" teamer, head of the fuel program(JC), overheard one of our pilots, cried to (BT) and that pilot was brought in for a CGF1 arrival, yesterday. So the CGF's are alive and well. I thought this company was on a different track? Sad!
