Does that mean you have to do proving runs on flight simulator at home for the -700?![]()
Since you quoted me earlier, I though I'd add a little info. I'm not a AMFA drum beater. I do not believe in concessions. I was a chairman for the strike committee during our contract. Stop generalizing

Some are not walking off to change the industry. Not that nieve. Just sick of the bull$hit.

kmox29 said:Don't you remember the NWA strike? Remember how they were going to "reward" us with a flow through for striking with them? That lasted until it was going to cost them something.
PCL_128 said:That's certainly true. If we're going to try this out, then trying it at a regional will get the most sympathy from a judge. It's hard to convince a judge that an FO making $23,000 needs a pay cut. Hopefully it won't come to this anyway.

TinGoose1 said:That is the first thing that the Mesaba MEC should do if confronted. Like I posted earlier, it is more likely that a regional pilot will withdraw his/her services before a major/national. People who make more money have more to lose.
screwed_again said:. I suspect XJ not striking after all this bankruptcy BS...90 seaters are on their way!
CWASaab said:Either way, there are several groups further along in the process than Mesaba. Aloha airlines filed with the Bankruptcy court its intent to file an 1113(c) motion on Friday and asked for expetided hearings. If filed the motion at Aloha will be heard initially on Oct. 28th and 31st. Aloha's management is desparate to consumate their relationship with Yucaipa and AAIG, and they need concessions to get it done. The pilots are not onboard yet, and it they may very well be the first to test the legal waters.
NWA may also test the waters before Mesaba.
Stay tuned....
