Heck, the USAF turns guys loose in F-16's and F-15's with about 200-300TT

Oh geez...get a clue. The military has a screening process that would wipe out 95% of the dingalings that go to the airlines with 1500 hrs.

Hell I saw an AirTran 717 bounce so dam hard that he pretty much did a bluked landing.....soooo, what...I'm guessing those guys were also 400 hour pilots?? yeah I guess you do get what you paid for.

Jetpoop - Prox sensor faults can cause a gear disagree caution in the 900. i have had one, and yes i did a go around (in calm wind on a 10,000ft long runway). i dont work at Mesa anymore, but i cant stand loosers that do nothing but bash other pilot groups. You need to get a life. Who do you work for? By looking at all your post your a real looser, got anything nice to say?

The guy flying was obviously ex-mesa, probably cloudroller. But seriously, no self respecting pilot should go to mesa unless you have less than 500 hours, and at that point you should not be at any airline. All you low timers can spout about all the crashes of high time pilots, but I guarantee you there are more crashes with low time pilots at the controls. There were two last year, Pinnacle and Corporate Airlines. But back to my point mesa is a $hit bag place to work with the devil calling the shots.

Sounds like flew for mesa chump ;)

Don't Mesa pilots fly all the jets interchangeably? (CRJ, CL-700, CL-900)

I have no idea what happened but I do know this - in the 50 seater, one routinely closes the throttles to idle at 50 feet.

If one should do that in the CL-700, you would drive the main mounts up through the wing tanks. In my view, this alone is a good reason to keep the seniority lists separate between the CRJ and the CL-700 especially when you're flying Cat II approaches.

Am I close?

You and Jetcream are a true j@ckass mesa dirtbags. But I do admire you sticking up for your fellow mud-dwellers. Maybe you should apply some of that attitude in your next contract negotiation.

Unsafe gear sensor my @ss. Faults in sensors don't make the aircraft unstable when landing in calm wind. He or She screwed the pooch PLAIN AND SIMPLE. It was way too obvious!! Besides I was there you were NOT.

If you would care to let me know personally just how big of a jackas$ dirtbag I am I will be flying from CLT to ALB at 1600 tomorrow and then from CLT to IAH at 2130. Just stop by the gate and say hi.

So why is there always some jab at them and their contract when that has nothing to do with what is being "talked" about here
as far as i'm concerned, did they walk away from the landing?
can they use the airplane again?
if the answer is yes to these questions then it must not have been that bad.

Your profile says that your current position is "bent over".

Logic would dictate that you either work for Mesa yourself and are self-loathing, or you like being mounted by men.

Either way, you are in no position (literally) to decide who is an embarrassment to the industry.

No, they just have ejection seats and no passengers. Let me see em' come out of PHX on a +40C day with a full load and have to do a V1 cut.

I'd like to see a V1 cut in an F16....................... :D

I saw one land gear-up in RIC. The jet ended up in the infield with the pilot gathering up his parachute about 3000 feet upstream of the burning wreckage.

My guess is that the Immediate Action Item for engine failure on takeoff mentions yellow striped handles.

Unfortunately I did not go to CLT today at all. Have a safe trip and hopefully you won't have to hold or be delayed on your way to IAH and get into your "FREE" time.

No I do not work for Mesa. I would rather clean toilets for beer money. I would make more. I am bent over taking it like all the pilots in this industry who have been robbed of wages, quality of life and pensions but of course Mesa played a role in that by signing that wad of toilet paper they call a contract along with our lame union ALPA. What is that pasted on your flightbags? ALPA MESA, protecting what is ours? Trust me no need to protect that. Nobody wants it.

Jetpoop your bent over taking it the A$$, the way you probably like it. Not that their is anything wrong with that, if you like that sort of thing. Its obvious according to your profile you do. Your avitar sucks too. Have fun with your rainbow stickers. Your a real looser.

I was in IAD last week waiting to catch a flight home, and saw a Blow Jets 700 do a carrier landing. Never even flaired just lots and lots of white smoke and 2 bounces. I just will never be as cool as buttpipe overheating because I didn't run home and post it right away.

(also heard all the pax complaining about how hard they hit when they came out of the jetway)

i just read the title of the thread....mesa screwed the pooch...isn't it the other way around? probably cheaper.

It's spelled L O S E R...You freakin retard. Now you show your true adolescence with your homo insults.

i never claimed to win the spelling bee. your the one who has the currnet position as being bent over. you never said who you work for. your adolesence is shown in most of your previous post.

Can you please clean my pipes, I will pay you more than Mesa pays their pilots.

Do what you do best and forget the flying business
