BLACKIE!!!!!

I see we meet again! Continuing to spread your holiday cheer I See.. You still seem to have your foot in your mouth and head up your A$$.... My suggestion is to take some peptobismal that might help the diarrhea that pours out your mouth...

Don't go down this road ROOKIE!! I have been at this company a little longer than you have. I know things that you don't. I have every right to, as you spelled it, "B!ch". Keep this in mind as well, We're comin'...Keep your mouth shut Blackie, it might get you into trouble!!!!

P.S. I am not going anywhere Rookie. I hope to look you in the eye someday!!!

I will stick by the quote in which you responded too. I'm glad you've been at this company longer than I have and I hope that makes you feel better about yourself. I welcome the day to meet you face to face, I'm no coward. I'm sure you won't have a hard time finding any "blackie's" out there. Rookie? That's funny. You're talking to someone that has been laid-off twice by 2 different companies and is now flying for his 4 th company in 2 years. Spare me the bullsh!t. I for one sold my first house and moved in with my in-laws. Once again, spare me the bullsh!t. I may not have that experience of the UsAir guys, but i'm no Rookie. BTW, Did you have to sell your house? I honestly feel your anger and I know where you're coming from. Most all the FO's at CHQ have been liad-off from some company. Most ACA/IDE and some Windy City.

As for a lot of folks were against you receiving your longevity pay, I for one was a supporter of you keeping your pay.
You want to talk about spreading cheer, I will do that. Be thankful for what you have today as you could be in a lot worse situation. Being mad and angery will do nothing to help your cause, it will just make it worse. Be thankful for what you do have.

I had a chance to spend some time with a few of the Orginal Shuttle pilots in YUL this past week. Super nice and intelligent guys/girls. I look foward to working with them. We had a blast! They for sure don't have your crappy attitude. God Bless and have a great Thanksgiving!

Maybe I should reread the whole thread. Did BP show joy in someone elese's misfortune? It seems to me that he has the attitude necessary to survive this business.

Of course I like to think I present the same non-chalant acceptance of being "wronged" by this job, but inside I know better..........

Blackie,

I am happy to here your points of view. I am sorry to here you have been furloughed from 2 airlines in the past 2 years. I myself came here after being laid off from a previous company and then another closed down. Never would I wish that on any pilot!! My point is that you tend to say things inappropriately on allot of these links which aggravates allot of people. As far as feeding you a line of !@#$%^... I speak the truth and I am a man on my word. Don't tell me to leave my company and stop complaining when you don't have a clue on what We have gone through. Your just going on what you have heard from 747 and the MEC and hear say. I am going on facts and experiences... Big difference

Yes these are just words on a message board, however it is also a way to hide behind your true feelings and I question your words most of the time. 9 times out of 10 your bashing someone or a group of people. The Majority of us at "OLD SHUTTLE" are very optimistic and happy go-lucky. Myself included, Believe it or not!!! We have a kind of family bond that does not come this way very often. The people you met up in Canada are great people. If you liked them then you should like us all. I have also meet allot of CHQ and New Shuttle people as well and I have had nothing but good experiences..

To see you face to face is not to pick a fight, just to see the face behind the words. Who knows we may have already met.. We may even have a good laugh over our little battles... I just hope that In the future you choose your words more carefully... I have no intention on leaving this company anytime soon. I have read some of your past postings and you have said you look forward to working with the pilots of Old shuttle. Then you say things that question my belief in your words.

There is going to be animosity between the 2 sides for a while but things will cool of once we all settle in to the new routine. I just hope your not going to pour salt on the wounds or add fuel to the fire . You certainly seem to do that quite often on these message boards. Every company has a few "BAD APPLES". I am not one of them at Old Shuttle & I certainly hope your not at New shuttle.. As far as my "bad attitude" is concerned I am just defending my position. Your the one who seems to need a little attitude adjustment.

Good luck to you in The Republic family. Many happy landings, God Bless and good health during the Holidays!!

Airline Driver,

I think you are just extra sensitive and you interpret terminology in a way on this message board that you probably shouldn't. I try not to read things on this message board and become offended by them, because I can't hear the expression of the words. I have gone back and looked at my last few posted and haven't seen once where I based anyone. Accept yesterday when PCL_128 (a PFT) called CHQ bottom feeders when he's a PFT from GFT.
Anyhow, Not my intentions to bash any companies, be cause I don't like people bashing on ours. I don't need to hide behind these words, I will speak what I feel no matter the subject may be.
BTW- This has nothing to do with what I heard from my union. I was just tried of the pissing matches on ALL message boards.

This is a message board. A lot of folks get on here to start sh!t. I know a few of them personally. Don't take it to heart.

As far as saying "stop b!tchin" That was not a directed to any one pilot group. When you start paying dues and have access to the IBT747 page I welcome you to look at the post in which I wrote. I said the same thing on that post too, " stop b!tchin". It doesn't matter weather you were original CHQ or S5. Some of us are just tried of hearing about it, most of us are. We just want to move on with things. The more we dwell on this arbitration, the more animosity will stay instilled with-in the pilot groups. We don't need that.
As management sits back and laughs at us make fools of ourselves.

I'm glad we've come to some understanding that we've been in the same boat. We both know what it's like being " let go" as I call it. I'm not a bad apple here and I haven't met any original shuttle guys/girls that are either.
Although, there are some in every bunch. See ya on-line and thanks for the Good Luck.

So, many of us have put in 3-5 years as a regional jet FO and are currently working on our 5th-7th year before upgrading- at a regional.

Thank you for speaking for the folks who know when to not say anything.

BP youre right we should stop complaing about what happened, but how or what do you say to our Shuttle America pilots who've been with the company since it was a mom and pop airline from connecticut you're gonna lose senority, house and home if you dont sign a 2 year contract, hey its the brakes. Whoa thats harsh no matter how gingerly you say it. But again it is what it is..... BULLTIHS!

This is not a jab at BP or ANYONE ELSE for that matter cause this industry is too small to draw lines in the sand but its gotta be said .

Hopefully this industry will have real leadership and not cheapskate MBA's screwing us over to save a few bucks.

why are all the new saab 170 guys so worried about the stupid contract. Look at the history of people who have split before the 2 years is up, you wont find anyone who has paid Republic Holding a single penny.

Get the 170 training and leave, but none of them will leave, cause if they were progressive pilots they wouldnt have been at shuttle flyin a saab in the first place.

we want you to leave. then i will gain back one of the 90 or so spots that was stolen away from me.

I have noticed here that many talk too much about every thing and for everything.

Unfortunately, things just did not work out for the best interest of the whole group. It is as they say, as one of our line Captains on the SF340 said, we pay the Teamsters to represent and fight for us to the fullest extent possible without any hesitation whatsoever. The question was/should be/is, did the Locals Teamsters do what they were expected to do? --To protect the interest of the members.

In your case, Yes. In our case, No!

Now that the arbitration is over. What do we do now as a whole new group family of step sisters/brothers?--Are we not suppose to take care of our own group as a whole.

I have many dissappointments with the whole process and the outcome. It is but natural and should be expected. But, we should always remain professional to others and to our position.

My only displease now is why did the 3 Local 747 EC members Not fight, or even "ask" for our longevity, pay protection, and seat protection during the meeting? . . . .We all know the positive response from the upper IBT747 leadership and management on this.

Now that the Original Shuttle America pilots are back to 16 months and less in longevity, pay, and more, they have every right to be upset with your locals.

Majority, if not all, of the Original Shuttle America folks have really "No" distaste for the line crews of CHQ and the new folks who came on board to Shuttle America, except of course if you open too much of your mouth about it. Like many of us, we have a lot of friends on the CHQ side as well.

Would you not feel the same animosity and displeasure towards those same 3 folks who did not sought for your best interest now that we are supposed to be family? How hard is it to fight and ask for the interest of the teamster members?

In any case, if you think that we CHQ/S5/MDA folks need to vent. Please let them be! . . Later on, it will be water under the bridge and we all will move on.

For "Black Pilot", . . . I and the rest of the Original Shuttle America Crew welcome you on board! . . . . Just keep it down a bit, you just talk to much! You remind me of my FO, who I have to raise my voice at, who does nothing but complain.

Take care buddy!

I thought Skull 1 was flying a Legacy for some corporation out west...

Don't raise your voice to the F/O. You're not his father.

(notice I didn't say "your" F/O -- you don't own him either)

What gives you the right to speak your mind but, I can't speak mine. Now that doesn't sound like the American way. I'm the one here that is not complaining. I want the complaining to stop. I guess you didn't read the thread in it's entirety.
If you want to continue to vent, then do so. You definitely have the right to vent. But, don't expect to vent and not get a reaction from others that are tired of hearing it. We know what happened, we are part of this intergration as well. Your not saying anything that I haven't heard or that I haven't said before.
I say the same thing to bitter Capts and FAs. I listen to there concerns but, I don't like the drama. It's over now, We must try and move on.

Oh, so tired you must be having to listen to this venting... Having joined this happy gang in this very calendar year!!!

You play the "welcome aboard, gang" game very well... yet you also play the "shut the **** up, we don't care what you have to say" game just as well. This, from the same person who spent months telling all who would listen "I don't work for Shuttle America, I am a CHAUTAUQUA pilot because that's who I interviewed with!!!"

Don't expect any "Middle Shuttle" or "Old Shuttle" pilot to think you are "one of them", as you have adequately demonstrated thus far that you think you, as a new-hire, are superior to them. Remember, you are too good to be a Shuttle America Pilot!

Good luck, bro. Even if those SA Saab-drivers are relegated to FO status.... They are still all senior to YOU... Even if you don't think they are worthy of such a position. I'm sure they would be more than happy to tell you what they think of your attitude... Which is, basically, that you can go EFF yourself with your self-important, "you all can stuff it 'cuz we don't want to hear it" attitude.

Don't have the nuts to tell the present SA people to stop their whining if your own attitude can't support such a condemnation.... Which it can't. I believe there's about 89 people on the present CHQ seniority list who firmly believe that you can stuff your attitude straight up your keister, no matter how how "fair" you think you are being in dealing with them. Every one of those people, no matter how junior, has more time dealing with Wexford and RAH than you do. I know you're too good to be an SA pilot because you interviewed under the aegis of another brand, but those people have more time "in country" than you do, no matter what the "we at 747 will pay you under the table" arbitrator decided.

Enjoy those 80+ people crawling up your colon. That tickling sensation you feel is them stealing your well-deserved upgrade.

Sounds like BP would be great management material.
