Bunch of pissed off first officers over here too, so if the definition of success in an arbitration is anger on both sides, then I guess the arbitrator got it about right.

If We had been granted Date of hire like the FA's & Mechanics did, we would have been scattered more sporadically and it would not have seemed like 86 pilots were PLUNKED on top of the bottom of the 1/3 FO's.

But the decision is the decision. I guess it just go's to show that the bond among st pilots is breaking down. DOD eat DOG. The unions are also a major factor in all the chaos as well

It's sad really......

Let me clear it up! MDA are a bunch of whiny a$$es, who think they're better than everyone else. They also believe that they are "entitled" to other carriers seniority list. It's about time they get a rude awakening!

ALL OR NONE!!! (Yea, keep up that attitude and let's see where it get's you)

Let Me clear something up with you!!!!!! "FREIGHT DOG"!!! MDA Pilots were flying 727's 37's 57's and anything else big before you were even out of your MAMA's Belly!!!!

Laughing at someone's misfortune is really really LOW!!!! Perhaps you need to change your diaper and mail yourself and your attitude else where.!!!!!!

All 86 of you would still be on top of all those complaining. So I guess they would still be complaining.

86 pilots compaired to 1300.......Do you really think 86 pilots made a big impact on the CHQ pilot list??????? Not really. It would have pushed back some F/O's perhaps 4-6 months from upgrade. Wow!!!!

How can he be a USAir pilot if he never actually flew for USAir, but 2 of the wholly owned subsideries instead ??

PHXFLYR:cool:

Wow, thinking quite highly of yourself, aren't you? And you are a "real" USAir pilot? Riiiiight.

Bye Bye--General Lee

I'm sure it did to some, bigger picture pal.

I doubt 50 MDA pilots will go to CHQ as Captains let alone F/O's.

That is a nice thought; however, I doubt that there will be any trouble filling the J4J seats.

Eating and living indoors has a powerful effect upon making job decisions.

It matters to some.

If it's such a big deal to you. Go somewhere else. It's that simple.

But YOUR bitchin' is okay?

You have not seen me b!itch one time on this board.
I'm one who believes what is done is done. We need to move on and deal with it. We all lost something.

I lost 4 years seniority. What did you lose?

Once again, Some had more to loose some had less. The point is we all lost some type of seniority. That is the way the aviation world is. I can go on being pissed or angry at whoever, but at the end of the day it serves no purpose. That my friend is a lost cause.
From this point everyone must deal with the situation at hand and make the best of it. No need to piss and moan. That just the way it is for now.
If it's to much to deal with find another occupation.

BP, thanks for the advice.

I can certainly accept my fate, but that doesn't mean I have to like it or embrace a union that threw it's brothers & sisters under the bus. Two furloughs haven't driven me out of the industry and this debacle certainly won't. But if you think our woes are in any way comparable well....have a great thanksgiving.

After that highly intelligent post I hope you are pulling gear and working the radios for him someday. How can you judge how someone is in the cockpit through posts on flightinfo? You guys take this $hit too seriously.

I too agree that BP is being insensitive. He has been with Chautauqua what... 6 months??

How could he possibly understand what has been lost by the Shuttle America and especially by the MidAtlantic -- US Airways furloughees?

These are people who, for the most part, have been developing their careers for much longer than he has. (in the case of some MDA guys, decades longer). A short delay in his upgrade would have been nothing when compared to the decades lost by the USAirways furloughees who are now faced with the prospect of yet another furlough while their aircraft are being sold to the lowest bidder.

He doesn't understand and it is quite evident in his post. He has lost nothing. They have lost everything.
