For all you doubters out there you should read the vuh and stay informed from posts like this.
"I just read the latest negotiations update from August put out by our leadership. If you're not ticked off by the company's behavior then something is wrong with you. How are they not being held in contempt when they continue to blatantly defy Judge Gwinn's ruling to negotiate? Where's the outcry from my fellow Flexjetters now that we see that it is our management, not the 1108, who seek to "integrate" (or have an ICBA, Integrated Collective Bargaining Agreement) for us Flexjet pilots and morph us into the Flight Options 2010 CBA while it's our 1108 who seek a new contract (JCBA, Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement) with vast improvements for both pilot groups?
Let's not overlook the fact that the company seeks to send this to arbitration so that they can wash their hands clean of any QOL loss that may occur. It is the company who is denying you a chance to vote on your future by sending this to arbitration. Do you feel like you're being treated like family or do you feel like you're being looked upon by a group that resembles our national politicians who barely scrape up a 10% approval rating?
WAKE UP!!! Pierre and Deanna are long gone as is our beloved Flexjet. Quit living in LaLa Land and take a stand. Management knows that we're divided and they're exploiting that advantage every chance they get. You don't have to be an 1108 cheerleader to demand that your management team "do the right thing" (as one previous manager always liked to say) by working with our negotiators and hammering out a JCBA and allowing YOU to have a vote in the process. Btw, remember how they touted so proudly in our "Crewmember Agreement" how many things we'd be allowed to vote on? I ask you, have we had a vote on anything yet? Of course not. However, the most important vote of your Flexjet career is in their hands and they're determined to deny that to you. Does that not hack you off?
I'll finish with this; If Mr. Salata is so upset about the Union's update reports, why doesn't the company put out rebuttals? Think about that for a moment. They used to rebut everything prior to the vote last December. But now, crickets. Whether you're an 1108 cheerleader or not, demand that your management team negotiate and give you your right to vote on a JCBA."
