This is God's power and he sent this thing to warn us ... we needed a shock.
-- Pat Robertson, remarking on the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, quoted by Robert E. Norlander in a dispatch of September 14, 2001

Whether or not you agree with his (radical) principles, that comment is inappropriate.

I disagree. It was perfect timing.

Pat Robertson is a man of religion.
This man of religion owns a Lear-jet.
This Lear-jet was headed to Foxwoods Casino.

What gives?

Well, for a small airport, 3 is a fair amount. As for when I was there, left in September.

Apparently he and his company don't use the airplane much so they lease it out....latest I've heard is that no one onboard had any direct affiliation to Robertson or his company. I'm not certain, but I don't think the pilots involved even worked for him.

Just found out on the local news that my boss at my part time construction job was one of the survivor's. Also the project manager I used to do estimates for was one of the other's. Feel bad for the pilots. Just what I need before my American Eagle interview on monday.

Must have been God's will.

I love the SNL cartoons about the 700 club.

I only recall the two mentioned in this string so far. When was the 3rd?

I was based there in the late '80's, that's why I was asking when you were there. Did you work for J.R or B.W.?
