I had my phone interview in at the end of July. Its been 4 weeks now. Anyone else out there still waiting? Has anyone got offered a Columbus interview lately? Thanks for the info in advance as I'm patiently waiting.

I did mine on the 2nd and still haven't heard anything. I sent an e-mail to CMH yesterday inquiring. We'll see if I hear anything back.

ERFly,

Anything catch you off guard, or was it just the laid back kinda chat about past employers and the rest customer service? Sounds like youve been waiting a couple weeks. No news is good right :)

Nothing caught me off guard at all. It was a very relaxed interview. She hit up all of my customer service experience and asked me some questions about customer service and how'd I'd treat the owners. Took about 25 minutes. I rather enjoyed the chat.

I've been waiting almost 7 weeks to hear something. I hope to hell that no news is good news.

Dude, did you actually pay Glamour Shots to take a picture of you in your uniform? I hope that doesn't weigh against your chances. Just kidding. Good luck.

I haven't had it done in my uniform yet. I'm still working on the 'stache. That FedEx guy is my hero, though!

ERFly...its been 7 weeks, hopefully you've made the cut. Thanks for the info. I think the way were going it will be 365 days of checking the mailbox everyday.

Are any of you people that got the "no thanks" pilots at a legacy carrier? I was told that they stopped hiring guys from regionals.

I'm not passing any judgment, just what a RJ guy told me on my commuting flight. I'm trying as well to figure out the magic formula.

I have heard that the interview groups are still a fair mix of all types of pilots with various backgrounds ( 121, 135, 91, mil )

9500hrs 121 4 type ratings coming from a major.

Thanks but no thanks "there are more qualified people in our data base". Phone interview went great ,lasted 15mins. I think they don't even know what they want. Oh well...... life goes on................

I dont think the amount of flight time once over the 2500 hour mins matters much, its clear they are looking for more than a pilot.....I should have worked at Chilis or Applebees .....my sim partner at my interview was a waiter in his first year at a regional...it was a plus in him getting hired.

I've been working at a private jet charter company for three years, doing essentially what they do. The phone interview went well (from my perspective), and I have their mins all met no problem. I had four internal letters of recommendation and two people walked in my app together in Columbus.

I was told by a couple people (who have nothing to do with hiring anymore) that I was "basically just what they were looking for." Now a 'no thank you.' Something has changed.

Good luck to all. It's PFM.

I really have to say wow! Who knows....maybe they are throwing apps up in the air and if they land face up they pick them? It really sounds like you would have been a perfect candidate to bring in to CMH.

That's what a lot of people inside told me at least. I wasn't being cocky... rather, I was very, very prepared for the phone interview and had planned on the same for the personal interview.

But like you said, just as several of my friends at NJ have said... who knows what they want?

July 9th phone interview and still no word. I do know of someone who had their phone interview around 6/19 who received an invitation for the CMH interview around three weeks ago. His CMH interview was this past Tuesday & Wednesday.

A guy at my airline had the phone interview Tuesday and was told that he would hear something within five weeks; however, if he is selected for the CMH interview, it wouldn’t be until January. Other people have had their phone interviews rescheduled up to three times all the way back to October.

The word of the day is "patience".

Just had my phone interview within the past two weeks....I asked about timeline and she said 4-6 weeks. Everything was as previously posted. Very nice chit chat :)

True! I was scheduled for my phone interview on August 20. Got an email on August 18/19 asking for a good date in October to reschedule it. Now it is on October 27. Unlike others, at least I am presently employed. Looks like more irons in the fire might be a good idea. Good luck to all.

Don't be fooled! My chit chat was awesome, yet they still sent me the "no thanks" email.

I hope you get it, but don't get too excited until 10 weeks after the in-person interview.

A friend of mine did his personal interview 10 weeks ago, and hasn't heard a thing. I don't know what they're doing over there, but I'd bet they're losing out on some good pilots.

8 weeks and waiting. Anybody hear anything yet?

My friend is at eleven weeks... he got a call from Netjets telling him they needed to finish some interviews in September, and that they'd let him know in early to mid October.

(That's after the personal interview.)

I hope you phone interviewees that haven't heard will get interviews set up soon!
