One of the network stations said they reported brake problems while on the approach.
I'm not up on the G150 numbers, but (unless they were on fumes) it seems to me they might have considered diverting to a longer piece of concrete.
I never trust the press to report the facts, especially when it comes to aircraft. Let's wait for the dust to settle a bit.

Brakes Failed. Sure they did, Ace.
Hendricks and all those teams needs to hire an outsider with a broom and some professionalism. Somebody who will go in and shut that place down, restructure it, the do it right. You know, someone who gives a ********************.
Jeez. Someone spit tobacco in your face at the FBO?
Doesn't that just mean the check cleared? No kidding. Not to mention they are Is-bao level 3.

+1, Boiler. While I know nothing of HMS' flight ops other than their history...
One might be surprised just how many "International Standard"-rated organizations across multiple industries have really crappy cultures & operational history/practices...regardless of the manual on the shelf or the results of a (paid) auditor.

Good for you HawkerFo You tell it like it is!!! Brake Problems, BS!
Well, if anything, you'll likely never ever have to brief Rick and Linda on the importance of keeping your friggin seatbelt fastened!
I found it quite interesting that in all the pictures I could find neither bucket was out and the spoilers were retracted. If you were rolling off the end dont you think that one, if not both would be in a condition to land? Things that make you go hmmmmmm.
Spoilers would have gone down quickly. With the nose gear removed, hydraulics were gone. One of the pictures I saw showed the nose gear laying in the ditch.
Squat switch issue? Unfamiliar with the aircraft.
Thats the other issue I found funny. Does anyone know what they flew out of EYW to get home? I'm assuming that it was one of his other aircraft. I'll be interested to see if JJ sticks with the 150 moving forward.
Go back to the Hawker Jimmie! WAY better looking and lift dump would have been very nice!!
That 150 is one ugly airplane!

But the G150 is more efficient, flying further and faster for less fuel, with a nice-sized external baggage compartment.
