Those who are truly brave will never live in fear.

"Those who are truly stupid will never learn."

Hey dumba$$, your extensive knowledge on LCC's is impressive but I would bet you would be first in line to whatever LCC gave you an interview. Good luck in the future...you will need it.

No LCC will give me an interview because I refuse to apply to any. I would rather leave aviation than work for one. Why can't people differentiate between my contempt for the LCC as opposed to the people who work there. The way you all act, maybe I should have the same contempt for you as all you LCCers have for me. Don't hate.

Hi, it's Dave again. Little Dave is online as well, trying to learn the ropes. He asks me all the time why pilot's swear so much. I tell him it's because they're low class trailer trash. Well, Dad, what will we do about that? Well, little Dave, if they act like trailer trash, we'll just have to pay them like trailer trash.

Airline pilots are not paid like like trailer trash, only on a pilot board would 100K/yr be viewed as a poverty wage. The rest of world feels this is a fantastic wage for working 15-17 days per month.

I agree! The median income in the US is around $50K. I don't see any reason for a pilot to make any more than $30K. After all, there are a lot of people that would PAY to get to fly a jet. Plus these new jets are all electric, and practically fly themselves. You don't even have to fly them anymore.

Glad we're on the same page buddy!

Hi, it's Dave again. I think our priorities are misplaced when a pilot can make $100,000 per year when it's management that needs the incentive to stay with the company and turn the ship around.

The rest of the world knows that pilots are overpaid prima donnas. Where the public is wrong though is in thinking that they are sophisticated. They are nothing more than sophomoric trailer trash. Just look at their language. Part of the reason I have so brilliantly predicted the demise of Jet Blue is because their management team simply pays their pilots too much.

Hi Frank, it's Dave. Are we still on for golf on Saturday? When is our tee-time? Can you bring an extra former Eastern pilot? My caddie has the flu. Thanks.

Yeah, way to support the team Yip.

Do you ever put any grease on your wheel?

Pilots are paid too much and only need a HS diploma. We got it.

How about trying some new stchichk.

Thanks.

Hey DA-20 jet in life you have to stand up for your beliefs. I have seen too many successful pilots that are not college graduates. My PPC flying the P-3 around Vietnam did not have a 4-yr degree, career retiree from DAL, I could name dozens more. My grandson who is in high school is starting flight lessons, he is thinking of becoming a pilot like his father and grandfather. If he does not want to pursue the military route like his father and grandfather, I will recommend to him he not go to college, his career will get a better start than the college graduate. I stand by my convictions.

The rest of the world produces engineers that work are happy to work for $18,000/yr, doctors that are happy with $25,000 (and CEO's that are happy to only make 100 times what the janitor makes.) That's not the direction I want this profession to take.
